If you want to experience great Filipino food that's reasonably priced, you must check out Roc's Grill. Their staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the restaurant is clean and bright. I find all their dishes to be fresh and flavorful. Well worth the visit!
Quite sad when we were here; all the silogs are out of stock. We didn’t mind if they don’t have it, the thing is when we asked for the tapsilog the first time, they came back after 5 minutes to tell us they’re out of it and that we can just have the adobo flakes one. After 5 minutes they came back to let us know that they don’t have it and we can just have the sizzling sisig silog kinda thing. So, we said yes, then they came back after 10 minutes to tell us they’re out of it too. We felt so stupid. This is one of the ridiculously bad customer services we’ve experienced. We’ve eaten at Roc’s before too but on the old location, never experienced anything like this but now. Hopefully, you guys will work this out and try to have proper communication with all the workers. Talk things out.Oh well, my boyfriend just had their batchoy instead and I got the bicolex.
This is my first time to try the Filipino food! Very delicious!
I first tried Filipino cuisine three years ago At Rocs And I cannot find myself to choose anything else for my lunch breaks And sometimes on weekends. Each dish is unique and flavourful. Some I have tried are Pinakbet, crispy pork Kare Kare, Binagoongan, beef mami soup and my personal fave Bicol Express. The squid is amazing too. Whether you are new to Filipino food or just want to try your classic favourites Rocs does it well with their own twist. The staff are down to earth people And I have enjoyed getting to know them and about their food and culture. There will always be negative Karen’s giving their reviews I urge people to try this hidden gem in Shawnessy.
Amazing food?delicious & yummy!!!!Highly recommended the pork bowl& chicken skin?everything is good!Friendly staff and good to know more about Filipino dishes! First time to try and impress me?We will come back again!?
Food is okay and friendly staff
We just ordered a take out of pork belly and chicken inasal. The food was boring. The chicken inasal was just right, but they never add any sides specially the pork belly. It was just a thin slice of pork belly cut into small pieces no sides at all. For the price , it does not justify it. Bumili na lang sana kami ng Nandos chicken..sorry guys. Please improve the food.
Amazing service and the food is devine! I'll be back yo eventually try everything on the menu. Today I had the fried chicken skins, and the stew with rice. Delicious ?
We ordered dinuguan and tokwat baboy, dunuguan is so dry and taste like the pork was from old litson and the tokwat baboy yikes....we cant eat the onion as they are chopped up too big and tokwa and pork are all overcooked. The restaurant used to have a very good quality of Filipino food but dont know why it has changed. Pandemic??? Low budget ?? Not sure.
One of the best filipino cuisine i've had in calgary. The food was good, fresh and decent price. Lively and clean atmosphere and the service was on point. The owners were hands-on as well on customers. Definetly would come back again and highly recommended.
