Ive gone to Ricky's many times my whole life, they are all generally the same, food is average and just like every other chain. I would say their breakfast is slightly better than humptys, dennys or ihop. Recently I ordered through Skip because I was sick and I got their sticky toffee pudding, I was looking forward to a nice warm, gooey and soft cake. What I got was a cold(almost like it had been frozen), hard and dry cake. I was extremely dissapointed, expecially because I was so sick. I havent actually ordered from them since, not consciously because of that but I think the fact they dont even know what sticky toffee pudding is turned me off from them. Stick to the local places, you will always get better quality.
STARTED OFF WITH 15 MIN WAIT FOR TABLES WHEN THEY WERE CLEARLY EMPTY AND CLEAN THEN I WAITED 35 MINS BEFORE A WAITRESS ASKED US FOR DRINKS THEN ANOTHER 30 MINS FOR THEM TO TAKE OUR ORDER THEN I WAITED ANOTHER 30 MINS BEFORE I FINALLY DECIDED TO WALK OUT. WORST WORST WORST NEVER GO HERE EVER!!!!!!!!!!
Simple food for a good price. I had The Works omelette without cheese. I like how there were actually a lot of vegetables in the omelette as advertised. The child with us got chicken fingers and fries - I thought the amount of fries were pretty small. The toast and bacon were a bit hard but still good. The service was quick and nice. Overall decent meal and I would go back.
Slow Service. Took too long to take our order and forever to get our food. Prices went up and not worth the price. Asked for burger well done. It was definitely not. Gravy is lumpy and gross. Had to ask for pop refill. Will not be going back.
Excellent service today! It was pretty slow just after lunch hour around 2pm so service was prompt and quick and the food came out hot and fresh. I ordered the Terriyaki Chicken Crisper Sandwich and my family member ordered the 2pc Fish and Chips. We both enjoyed out meal and the prices were very reasonable for a couple dollars more it sure beats Burger King and McDonald's ? would definitely recommend and will return
This is my Favorite Fabulous go-to place whenever I'm in Calgary? I'm usually there soon after opening and enjoy several hours of pleasurable reading and dining? Rebecca is wonderfully amazing, the friendly servers second to none, delectable Stuffed Hash Browns with Hollandaise Sauce and a bottomless cup of perfect coffee. The grilled cheese and tomato soup combo was delish and perfect comfort food for such a cold post xmas night. My wife really enjoyed her turkey dinner special as well. It was kinda of a slow Tuesday night so we didn't have to wait long at all for our meals. I didn't get our servers name but she was awesome too ???
We enjoyed our meal tonight! The service was fantastic- the young lady serving was the only wait staff and the room filled up while we were there. She clearly communicated to each patron that the service might be a bit slow because she was alone - we felt well cared for while we watched her serve each table in a warm and friendly manner. The food was good as usual ☺️ and we will be back.
Loved their grilled cheese and tomato bisque soup. My comfort food pick up go-to.
Used to be good restaurant, service went down. One time ordered medium steak there and got over cooked, not fresh looks like was in warmer for a while!!!Not going there anymore!
