Whenever I go to diners, i typically look for eggs benedict and Red’s do not disappoint. We got the traditional benny and The Beef brisket and eggs. The eggs benedict was delicious, their hash was perfectly seasoned and their hollandaise is great too. The items we ordered were 20-23$ each but the portions and taste justify the higher price. I will be trying more of their eggs benedict!

The breakfast sandwich was DELICIOUS! Egg was perfectly cooked and the sourdough bread was so good. They give a generous portion of hash browns - with their house made mayo, so yummy (if you’re a mayo with fries kinda person). The service is prompt and attentive.

Nobody does Hollandaise like Red’s. Best Benny in the biz.

We ordered the daily special (ham and cheese sandwich) and tomato soup and the bacon and brie egg benny. They were both delicious. The tomato soup tasted fresh and home made. We tasted the brie in the benny and the eggs were fresh too. Somehow, even the hash was tastier than usual. :)

Comfortable breakfast spot!Had a lovely brunch here over the weekend. I tried one of their lovely tea creations, the misty morning I believe. I also had the crepes Florentine. The tea latte was very matcha-y and chock full of caffeine which was perfect. The crepes are deceptive! They look like they won't fill you up but I promise they will, I was positively stuffed and they were delicious! Our waiter was lovely and charming but didn't refill our water which was understandable but a little frustrating.

Ordered breakfast delivery. Really loved the crispy potatoes and the brisket. The french toast was very rich - which many people would love! Overall, satisfied with the yummy food and may visit in person some day. There was more than enough for two people to share.Dishes ordered: 58th Ave Benny and Blueberry, Basil & Goat Cheese stuffed french toast.

Excellent service; coffee is exceptional (definitely not wimpy). Tends to get loud as people are required to talk over the slightly obnoxious sound track (volume). Not overbearing enough to warrant a star deduction, though. The Big Red was superb as wad the Red's Original.

Great place to grab a bite to eat! Portions were large and service was fast. We went on a Wednesday morning and there were still a number of tables occupied, so I'm guessing weekends would be pretty busy. Recommend stopping here before a day of exploring the city!

This was my third attempt at having brunch here. The other 2 times on the weekend I wasn't going to wait 1 1/2 hours. The service was truly excellent however the coffee was as bitter as Trumps' soul and about as palatable. The food was not very exciting, cold, and pricey. There are other notable diners in YYC that provide a better brunch experience.

Love is in the air at Red's Diner in Kensington! While my usual Red's go to is the one on 58th, I never did get a chance to stop by here in Kensington (well, more like remember this one) until today with friends. The food is excellent, the service was active, attentive and friendly and I don't believe I've ever had a bad meal at any Red's in the city ever....and this one has definitely kept that trend running. My only two regrets to this visit is that our waitress let my friend pay for the bill instead of me and I ordered the "Big Breakfast" and let my eyes do the ordering instead of my head. It's now 3 hours after eating there as I write this and I'm still supremely stuffed and contemplating a nap instead of enjoying the sun outside this beautiful Sunday. Oh, and this location was definitely in the Valentine’s Day mindset with all the heart and love decor.
