My spouse enjoyed South Western Omelette and I had French toast. The French toast were too dry, they should have been soaked longer to absorb egg mixture into the bread. They weren't puffy like those at Red's on 4th.
Great breakfast spot!Lots of variety on the menu, something for everyone, including my friend who has a gluten allergy. And the prices are very comparable. We went on a Thursday morning for brunch and it was pretty quiet inside, which was nice since we had a small infant with us.The waitress was super friendly and attentive. Our food came pretty quick, not a long wait. The food was delicious, I’ll definitely get the pacific eggs Benny again. The hash browns were a tad on the salty side but that was my only small complaint. We got Iced lattes and they were so good.Overall, we very much enjoyed our brunch at Red’s and I will definitely come back to try other menu items.
Celebrate my birthday brunch with family at Red's diner today. Breakfast is great, lots of options to choose from, nice and clean , friendly staff. Only one thing that little bit off is our hot chocolate wasn't really hot. Other than that its great.
Came here on Victoria Day, this place was super delicious and I’m not the biggest fan of brunch/ breakfast food but this went crazyyy. Everything combined perfectly. Place was extremely packed but we got our food was super quick. The service was amazing, and all the staff were super nice and welcoming - very refreshing. Will go out my way to be back :)
Absolutely outstanding overall service, meal total experience ?!
Stylish diner with good service and delicious food. It is priced a bit above Denny's or Phil's but it's justified by the quality of what you get. Expect to pay $20 and above for most items. The coffee is strong and big cups are a plus. They even have fancier espresso and crazy good milkshakes ($8 though).Plenty of parking and the waiting during busy time is around 20-25 minutes.
Just wow! We stopped in here on a whim. Katie C was our server and she was fantastic! Polite, quick and amazing! Both Hubby and I gave her 2 options and asked her to pick 1 for each of us and she did not disappoint! There was a guy going around refilling coffee and hubby appreciated not staring at an empty cup waiting on one. The prices may seem a little high but you will NOT leave here hungry. The portions are huge! The kids meals are also huge which is amazing for $8. I really enjoyed the hash browns (cubed potato style) which is a rarity for me. For a diner, this place is delicious and we will be back!We really appreciate being able to join the waitlist for a table before getting there and being able to hang out in the comfort of our car while waiting. I wish every restaurant did this!
Super warm and friendly atmosphere they have a full bar, lots of seating and booths. We were seated promptly and given the option of paper or digital menus. The Traditional Benny as very good, eggs over easy and a side of red potatoes, the 58th Ave Benny was scrumptious and the beef brisket on it was fantastic the fried onions did leave a little to be desired they just didn’t really taste like much. The Crepes Florentine stole the show though!! They were packed full and HUGE bursting with flavour and so so savoury! The Red’s Potatoes are seriously the best hashbrowns I’ve ever had. We took an extra order home for another day! We also tried the hot chocolate; it rocked. The Creamsicle Milk Shake was really good not to sweet and had real orange flavour. Really great service, we’ll definitely be back!
I had the day off and decided to go into Red's for a casual morning breakfast and coffee. I went in shortly after 9am. The diner was busy and nearly full, but the hostess was able to seat me immediately at the bar. I was served hot coffee right away and ordered the Prairie breakfast. Breakfast was served quickly. It was hot, tasty and exactly as I had requested. I particularly liked the way the perogies were bite-sized - I've never seen that before but it's a great idea. The sausage was good, too. The service was perfect. Friendly, timely and I always had a full cup of coffee. I would give this experience 5/5 stars. Excellent service, excellent food, and excellent value for the price. I will definitely be back, and will recommend Red's to others when decided where to go for breakfast.
First time I’ve been to Red’s and I will definitely be a repeat customer. Loved the atmosphere and the attitudes of the servers, top notch!! I loved the decor!! A bit of a wait (15mins) but worth it, and I didn’t mind the text system so u could wait in your car. The food was super good. Best hollandaise sauce I’ve ever tasted. Will be trying to lunch menu next time.
