I have been coming to this store for a year now. Usually everyone is nice on July 21 I had Carmen Burley at the till when swapping the water bottles, no I've been told many times just go swap the bottle and bring them to the customer service to pay. This time though with Carmen she demanded I bring them to her before swapping them, I explained to her I use to do that but I've been told by multiple people to just put the old ones up and bring the new one... she turned very hostile and condensending toward me. I told I would start doing that again it's no problem. As I'm walking away after paying she says very loudly about how rude people are and how everyone also has 2 cents and should just keep quiet. All I said to her was I been told to do it a diffrent way from multiple others and that I will do it the way she want but said maybe there should be a policy so everyone is on the same page. I stayed very nice to her but she turned vile. It's completely uncalled for and no one deserves that. Just smile be nice that's all I tried to do and gave a little advice. Didn't mean to ruin your day by agreeing with you and offering a suggestion.
Their pharmacy team is top notch! I was in town on holiday and needed a prescription before hopping on a flight and they made room for me even though they were already busy. Amazing team!
After recently visiting this store I have become more familiar with the aisles. It is well stocked at this location, and the staff are friendly and greet you with a smile. The meat has really good expiry dates too.I have been checked out by Edna twice now and she is very efficient at what she does and keeps busy lanes moving. This will become a regular grocery stop for me!My only qualm is that sometimes the floors can be a little messy -which is very understandable considering the traffic this location gets.
Great selections. Can be a one stop shop if looking for cards, gift wrap/bags, small appliances, gardening, stock up items in bulk, seasonal items and pharmacy selections. The bathroom could use a little tlc, have updated it over the years but seems to always have broken locks- sinks out of order.
It's always good here because it's clean and organized. I just don't like it when they (security) start following people around for their own criteria of who to flag and it is very obvious and uncomfortable.Despite this security issue I like this super store that's why I go out of my way to go to this location. There are other locations near me but this is my first choice.
Wow have prices gone up! Cat n dog food outrageous prices. Used to pay 32.99 for bag of cat food, now 39.99, crazy. Dog food bag, 23.99 now 27..99. Soft cat food, 14.99 to 18.99, hence forcing me to go back to Walmart, better pricing.
Good store. Decently well organized. A fair selection of produce. Not always great quality of prices, but they do have a decent selection of products and prices usually. The biggest challenge I've found when dealing with Superstores is that when trying to get specific help, no-one knows who to talk to. You can rarely get to who you need to talk to. This location is decent; the overall structure of trying to serve consumers however, when they need assistance, needs work.
Still yucky... not as clean as other stores. Because of recent political climate some shelves are empty which is understandable. Specially the Asian food section. I would say they still have the most comprehensive Asian food selection than other locations. Could be cleaner though
I usually like this Superstore, but I recently had a very off experience with a staff member. I was leaving the store with my newly purchased flat of chicken and she yelled at me, "Did you buy that meat?" and came running over. I convinced her that I had, but it was just very strange since I had literally bought it right in front of her only a minute or two earlier.I understand that stores have to be careful and sometimes people do steal, but to confront me so loudly that everyone was staring was just really embarrassing and inconsiderate.I still shop there, but I prefer other Superstores now.
This location is very bad and has provided the worst experience I've ever encountered.The racism displayed by the immigrant girl at the self checkout is shocking.she simply strolls by holding on to bags like they are her children and ignores customers that are Caucasian.I'm just a Caucasian Canadian so was left to take my groceries home without any bags and is the last time I'll shop there again.
