We had a great experience dining in at Raj Palace Midnapore! We ordered: saffron rice, beef vindaloo, okra masala, and mango lassi. Everything was delicious and the service was great. We will be back!
Oh my god. The best Indian food I've had in Calgary to date. The server, whose name I didn't get (which is too bad) was crazy informative and pleasant.There were three in my part and we ordered an appetizer and three mains and a side of naan. Everything was tasty. Like, really tasty. Hot and flavourful with excellent presentation.10/10. Would recommend.
Fantastic food and ambiance in Raj Palace Restaurant. The staffs were very professional and skillful. The biryani here is simply delicious along with lamb curry. I decided to dine in on my first visit and the experience was truly amazing. Very well mannered staffs and good ambiance. Highly recommended.

I was craving for Indian food since past two weeks and then I came to know about Raj Palace Restaurant at South Calgary which is absolutely near my place. Loved the Indian food and the ambience of the place. The food was totally delicious with exact Indian flavours and lastly will say about the hospitality of the place. Top class in one word.
Beware if you have gluten or dairy allergies- the menu is inaccurate: “Gluten Free” items do not use a separate fryer (ie. pakoras) “Dairy Free” items likely contain paneers as ours did. We phoned and the customer service experience was lacking.
A couple of days ago, I visited Raj Palace Restaurant with my friends. Their warm welcome and wide variety of Indian traditional recipes are attractions for any food lover like me. Even my Canadian friends were so happy that they relished all the food and couldn’t stop praising the food. If anybody asks me about the best Indian restaurant in Calgary, I will suggest your name.
Great place to have food with your family and spend the weekend. The Indian foods are really great in taste. They are not too spicy and not too rich with spices. Very good taste and variety of options to choose from. The staffs were very well mannered and the hospitality was top class. Highly recommended and 5 stars to the quality of food...

Raj Palace is my favourite restaurant! The food is very delicious. We ordered food for my kid birthday party yesterday, everyone likes this so much. They go beyond their regular menu and prepared special menu items for us. Very impressive on the quality and portions. I would recommend visit this place.
I really wanted to like this place as I'm south Indian but this really disappointed me. The first time I tried their garlic naan and loved it. It was thin and almost melting in my mouth. The second time I went especially for this item and it was thick and rubbery.Coming to their south indian food, their medu wadas are very good, soft and crispy.. But the sambar and chutneys on the side are not even edible, absolutely lack taste. There is a very popular south Indian restaurant in the NE, you should get their recipe for sambhar and chutneys.Lastly, they are wayyyyy OVER PRICED.. We had a dinner for 2 and our bill was 70 bucks!Will not visit again and will definitely not recommend.
