absolutely lovely place, the employees are always very helpful and kind. a great variety of food and drink in the menu. i love it every time, there hasn’t been a drink i haven’t loved. also a great place to study, quiet and relaxing. the perfect place in calgary, i love it every time i walk in
Came to the Sirocco store today after a while and was really pleased with the new paint job. Drinks and snacks are fantastic as always, and staff are very friendly. Shoutout to the owners for listening to their customers and keeping up the maintenance on the store. Will be coming back again!
What a TERRIBLE experience at PurrTea. We ordered the matcha bubble waffle, waited patiently 20 minutes for the waffle only to have handed to us a waffle burnt to a crisp, 99% black and charred (not the photo attached). When I told the person who handed it to me, she told me this is normal and that I wouldn’t know because I’ve never had it before. I’ve had many around Calgary and all around Asia, and BURNT BLACK is not normal. This thing was also quite expensive and overpriced. I asked if she could make it again and she rolled her eyes and grunted while saying “it’ll come out the same but okay whatever”. Waited another 10 minutes and got one that wasn’t even whole. The bubbles weren’t stuck together, AND it was still burnt. Not as bad though, luckily. The photo is of the second attempt. She didn’t even hand it to me, she threw it on the counter upset. Not a good experience. Wouldn’t recommend.We visited the 17th Ave location yesterday and got beverages and had a wonderful experience ?
Purr tea is my favorite place to get the refresh drink. By far the best bubble tea/smoothie shop in Southwest! The service is quick and nice. The drink is made with fresh fruits, and the bubble tea especially the is so yummy. The inside of the shop is super clean and cute. I love to get my drinks here all the time!
This is our family favorite go-to Bubble Tea shop. The owners are hard-working local people who live in the area and it is always nice to support local. We enjoy the fresh fruit smoothies the best, that is our favorite!
bad costumer service with the covid times. not clean, when I buy from there I feel like I just wanna go out as fast as possible. need a lot of work to make it better at this location specifically. Plus, the drinks are overpriced.

By far one of the worst bubble tea locations in Calgary. The inside is always filthy. Dirty walls, garbage on the floors, messy tables. The drinks are super overpriced for the mediocre quality and overall experience. The employees are extremely slow even when the store is busy, took 15 minutes to prepare two simple drinks for my sister and I (we were the only people in the store). We didn't ask for any special accommodations, our drinks were right off of the menu. This isn't the first time either. Have given this place a few chances, and every time I'm equally as disappointed. I now go out of my way to avoid this place because it is ridiculously slow compared to other bubble tea locations.
It depends what you are looking for… For authentic Boba connoisseurs this is not the place for you. This review aims to stay balanced as this venue is good for some and not for others. It is very much designed for take out and delivery options. This is because it is fast an efficient but way to small to house studiers/remote workers for very long. Additionally, they lean on the slushy and smoothie side for there sweet bubble tea options. On the one side, this was a unique and flavourful blast for me as I tried the taro coconut. On the other, it is not as authentic to what you would find in Asia. Different does not always mean worse and it appears much cleaner than in the past which I noticed other reviewers comment on. This place keeps it real and does not report bad reviews which keeps it more honest than most places. Keep that in mind and give it a try as it might be for you! The food, namely the dumplings were a great cost for dollar and tasty. I also adore the Yakitori fries, try them out! The bubble waffle was nothing to be remembered though and left me wishing I had ordered something else. Hope this helps inform your quick eat. This is one of my UberEats go to venues as it gets there fast. 3/5 stars feels balanced allowing for a just and fair review. This was still a positive experience for me!
I love it here. The staff are always so kind and they really move as fast as they can. Always have amazing service and food and drinks. I'm here at least 2 times a week
