This place is okay. I used to be a very frequent customer, but last time I went in was for my free bowl from using their in-house computer loyalty “stamp card” system…. and they tell me that the system is re-set and all my loyalty purchases are gone. That’s so lame! They were so meek and unapologetic about it too. Also, their portion sizes ARE different than before, I dont believe them when they say they’re not. They seem so defensive in their google review rebuttals- hey Po-ke, maybe stop trying to excuse yourself whenever you get a less than perfect review, it reads very poorly to be honest. Looking forward to hearing your excuse/rebuttal about the stamp card thing, since we all know you’ll have one.
A solid 3.5 overall. It's a nice spot that hits the mark with a craving for poke. Pricing ranges from $10-18 (depending on size and also topping/type). Their Po-Ke special bowl was very unique and you get heavy flavours from the overall bowl (the mandarins actually are a good mix to it) I found that the saucing was too heavy on the bowl which overpowered many other toppings along with the sushi rice flavour. Quantity of toppings was ok (heavier on some toppings than others such as seaweed salad and mandarins vs avocado, fish). The musubi side was also ok - rice didn't stick together too well and was a little too salty for my liking.Good cozy ambiance in this shop - well kept and clean. Service was ok - very straight to the point.
Just bought a poke bowl from this place. I've purchase before. They allow 5 toppings, before, they allow you to choose 2 of the same toppings, but all of a sudden, they say can not double up an item. Anyways, there are lots poke places now. I am going to avoid this place. Doing business like you are the only business around is not acceptable. I would suggest the owner to change their signage to 5 differnt items and now 5 items.I don't recommend this place for their cusotmer service.
Ordered Two Po-Ke Special Bowls through doordash for Pickup. Picked up the ordered and noticed at home that the Bowls don’t contain any fish portions. Had to drive back and the store refused to give any kind of voucher and the staff also made no apologies about the incorrect order. Was told to claim through the doordash app. The doordash app only credited me $8 when the order had cost me $36. Very disappointing customer service, I won’t support you any longer.
One of the best poke places in Calgary, they actually let you choose the stuff to put into the bowl and there aren’t many of those here. I love the variety of ingredients that they have and it’s always yummy for me.My only recommendation would be for them to get Kale noodles, it’s sooo good.
Been buying food here consistently for over 3 years. Recently, portions got incredibly STINGY. When you're paying $35 for two bowls, they should be robust and filling the container. Please go back to your previous process or risk losing customers like me.
Prices are okay and the spinach bowl was doused in sauce. The hotdogs were acceptable. Quality may have dropped over time, or maybe this was just a one-off experience.
I used to order regular size bowl. Today, I just ordered the large size and paid extra $4, however, the large size is actually same portion as the regular size :( paid extra but didn’t get that value added to the portion
David offered great service and healthy selection to choose from. I agree the main bowl I had needs more texture… it was nice trying something new and I would definitely go back. Thanks David!
