I've been coming here since I was in my teens. Not only was it the perfect after session meal to satisfy me but the staff had this home-y kindness that you just knew was genuine. I have never come out of this business dissatisfied with the service or food.

I ate here a few years ago. I still consider it one of the tastiest shawarma I've ever eaten. I'll be back next time I'm in Calgary.

Anyone who wants an authentic TOP quality donair needs to try this place. Donair meat is spiced perfectly. Toppings all fresh. Bread delicious and made with love. Will definitely be back!!!

This is a sad review to write. This place has in my experience had a great track record. We've always found the food very satisfying in the past, and a positive customer experience. Even in times of visible stress this family business had made an effort towards being personable and satisfying the request.Last time we went a couple months ago there was a very noticeable shift in the experience of ordering. The food was on par with their standards so chalked it up to few hard years and not having been in a while. There was a sense of worn out, jaded, and general resentment towards the customer for ultimately the employees choice to work there.I've worked industry most my life, I can relate personally as well as having seen it in many coworkers the struggle of being over a workplace yet staying for various reasons. Fortunately usually as cooks we have been out of the public eye, so attitude has a little wiggle room. The servers get paid to smile in most of my settings?. But these folks are right in view, on the stage if you will. This time was one of the worst experiences of its kind. I asked, as it seemed like my super shwarma was getting the smaller portion of meat meant for the regular one. This was after noticing but not mentioning my pita get practically shredded while getting prepped for toppings. There was no response, I was friendly and genuinely asking. Instead the fella slammed some stuff around and seemed to blame his coworker. He wouldn't respond when i further said I was just asking a question. The energy wasn't not pleasant in there it really felt like they were mad at us for being there and how dare we have a question about our food we were paying for.I would really say you guys know how to knock this out of the park and have for years provided a wonderful product. Its up to you to decide if this is a worthwhile investment if your time. No amount of quality can make up for projecting your inner stuff at your customers. We will not be returning without some sort of outreach from this business. Seems like its time to reevaluate things.

The customer service at this restaurant is atrocious and honestly shocked me today. I have been a customer for almost 15 years and today is the last time I’ll ever buy from them. Years ago it was pleasant to go in, the owner even remembered me after years, and now I’m left with the feeling that I’m inconveniencing them by daring to step in and order food. The young man is absolutely miserable and makes it well known. He often sighs at my order, I could brush it off until today when I asked for an order of fries. He stopped what he was doing and stared at me with a look on his face that was scary. It felt like he wanted to kick me out for simply ordering fries politely. They’ve lost a longtime customer for good. It’s really too bad because I love their food, but I can’t support a place which treats people so terribly.

There food is great, but they routinely close earlier than there posted hours. Today for example, I was there at ten after eight and they were already closed despite posted hours saying they are open until 8:30, and this isn't the first time its happened to me.

Definitely lost me as a steady customer. It's always been decent but the prices are absurd for what like 2 slices of meat and some bread? They used to be open late til 2 am but now they are closed at 8:30 and will likely keep reducing hours because it's not profitable. What does that tell you? That they are not motivated or making enough money to stay open which means one thing, that others agree with a bad review because it is reflected in their poor profits. McDonald's or A&W are the only places that now serve past 1 am steadily, they lost the whole night crowd who would be lined up at 11 pm all the time.

By far the best donairs iv had, onion rings are incredible as well

I've been coming here for years, and today will be my last. Unfortunately the quality and service has went down hill..I understand times are tough but it's hard to enjoy a chewy chicken donair and a seemingly unpleasant worker.

The girl seems not happy to serve every customer, i was there couple times lately coz my nephew wants donair, but she’s not happy, she throws pita bread, tongs and plate.
