By far THE BEST shawarma ever! I grew up in the Middle East and have lived in USA for 20+ years and this place has food that is as close to authentic Middle Eastern as it can get. No place in USA comes close to Pita Grill’s shawarmas! We came back to Canada after 4 years and first stop was PITA GRILL! The staff is super friendly, caring and have a nice sense of humor, they go out of the way to make your experience enjoyable. The food is beyond perfect, delicious and very fresh! We had the chicken shawarma, beef shawarma, mix shawarma, and Kefta kabab platter, and the beef kibbe. OH MY GOODNESS! Just the highest level of satisfaction ? can’t wait to go back soon! Highly recommend this amazing restaurant and wish we had them open a few branches in USA!
Never been disappointed when ordering from here. The food is always delicious, and the service is impeccable. The falafel is always a hit with my daughter - she especially loved dipping them into the garlic sauce and hummus. So good and we will always be repeat customers.
This place is AWESOME!! Huge serving sizes for cheap and more than reasonable prices! Their falafels were some of the best I've ever had, no kidding!! ??Unfortunately I told them to not add any dressing to the ceaser salad, twice (to make sure), but even tho they told me ”no dressing” I ended up with one... That's why I'm only giving 4/5⭐.The staff were super nice and the food was as fresh as it could just be! (And really flavorful, it was great)I will definitely come back
Food here is to die for, season well and cooked to perfection. Portions are HUGE, I like to get the rice with beef steak and chicken..Love the donair spring rolls with sweet sauce, and the new beef koba are so crispy and flavorful. I've eaten at alot of places in Calgary and , this place tops the charts!! I'm not affiliated but just think people should know about this place. Oh! All the staff are also very charming ??
Ordered a chicken and steak shamara; received zero chicken in the shamara. Ordered a few vegetables (but NO ONIONS due to a food sensitivity): had to pick the onions out of the shamara.
Food is fresh daily and prepared with authenticity. Modern look with traditional food - yummy! So clean and everyone is so friendly; the store is a local gem! If you want the best kabobs, platers, salads, burgers etc, and a bang for your buck, this place is a must try!
Pita grill is simply the best Donair/Kebab shop in the city, and has been for years. Even now that we live about a 15-minute drive away, this is the only place we will eat for this style of food. Nothing around us compares nor does any other Donair shop in town.They have moved a couple of times in the same mall in Riverbend here as they have grown and the current location is fully modern and clean. I almost always have the beef Donair but today I had the chicken souvlaki and wow! Where has this been my whole life? I can't believe all these years and I've never had it until now. The chicken is so juicy, the rice is super delicious, the salad is great and the garlic sauce with the potatoes is divine. Is divine. It also comes with a pita bread and a generous portion of taziki. My spouse had to beef donor and platter and she absolutely loved it. That's what she has all the time sometimes switching for chicken. We both came home with enough food to feed us supper tonight as well.If you are tired of going to your local place that charges you too much money for a few pieces of meat, that is almost always dry, it's worth the drive to Riverbend to visit the nicest people and the best food in town.

Simply the best shawarma around! I am glad to see these guys have seemed to thrive through the pandemic. I am sitting waiting for food to be ready and it is always worth the wait. Keep up the good job!
