Every-time we are In we always visit this restaurant. It’s located in a less desirable area, but who cares! The pho is soooo amazing. Yum yum yum!

It’s been a minute since I’ve eaten here, brings back so many good memories, such nostalgic vibes. The BÒ TÁI CHANH (Beef Carpaccio) was ? delicious, could even say, best I’ve ever had. ?If you love pho dau bo, make sure to check out their sister location motto!

We wanted to try this place as we've heard a lot of hype about it, and love peanut sate pho.We went around 1 p.m. and it was quite full inside, and almost impossible to find parking in the busy strip mall lot!We ordered a small and a large peanut sate pho; the service was pretty quick and friendly. The pho arrived with very hot broth that stayed hot the whole way through eating. It also had perfectly cooked noodles. It felt like they were very light on the amount of broth in the bowls - there was at least an extra 2 or more inches of head space. It was still very filling, it just felt like we weren't getting our money's worth! It is definitely way pricier for a bowl of pho here than many other spots, and smaller bowls. The sate was very spicy and had good flavour, but no chunks of peanut.Overall, it felt like they are trying to be a trendier, more non-traditional vietnamese spot. There was pop music playing rather than traditional vietnamese music, and standard restaurant menus rather than the usual "write down what you want" and tear off order sheets. It definitely felt more like a typical restaurant than a pho house. It was a good bowl of pho and I would probably eat here again, but I feel all in all it is somewhat over-hyped.

The most iconic viet restaurant in YYC. Amazing service, photo worthy dishes, and the most amazing sate pho in my humble opinion! Please go check them out if you haven’t, def worth the try and I can guarantee you’ll want to come back.

Probably one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in Calgary! In addition to the usual pho noodle soups, other dishes were phenomenal. The bone marrow add on is a very nice touch.

It was very good indeed. Its my first time having bone in beef rib and ox tail in pho. The broth was good. The baked bone marrow was absolutely amazing. Everything is delicious. It would be perfect if fresh noodle is used.

We just ate there and were very happy with the delicious dishes and the excellent service from our waitress, Elena! She gave us great suggestions of what to oder and was very professional.

Went for a late lunch after reading about it online and being in the area that day. Upon entering the server indicated to take a seat near the front of the restaurant as she was busy. She quickly arrived with the menus asking about drinks. She returned a few minutes later with water asking if we were ready to order… umm no haven’t really looked at the menu yet… One good thing was the pictures and descriptions of the dishes they had on the wall which is worth looking at before ordering if you are unsure. The beef carpaccio (share plate) was certainly interesting if you have never had it before. The beef is indeed rare but thin and soft. The chili lime vinaigrette explodes in your mouth, so your tastebuds are initially unsure what to do about it, and the red onion and chilies give a nice texture. The spring rolls were disappointing being slightly over cooked with the thicker pastry detracting from the filling. The accompanying spicy fish sauce was ok but really did not accentuate the dish. The Pho Oxtail was a pleasant dish with a good amount of meat. Tender, juicy, fatty, and falling off the bone it was swimming in an excellent light bone broth. The noodles were cooked well and easy to slurp! Lots of flavours hidden underneath the noodles which was nice. The dipping sauce was only regular Hoisin so not that special. So adding the left over Chili Lime vinaigrette from the Carpaccio to the noodles was not a bad thing. The Pho Sate was just as good with the sate soup being of a thicker consistency, but very tasty with a nice afterburn from the spices. A downside was arriving in what appeared to be prep time for the staff including the server who was busy filling up sauce containers and did not check on us or even other diners nearby, so the experience felt hurried and rushed particularly towards the end of the meal where the server was bringing the bill to another table and assumed we wanted ours at that time as well. So much for staying for trying the whipped egg yolk coffee… Question: go back? Again, when in the area this would be a place to visit and not let some poor service ruin what could be a potentially good pho find…maybe get that extra rating point...

We've been to so many countless Vietnamese Restaurants but this one serves this one of a kind bone marrow beef with toast! It was surprisingly so good and was worth our 45 minute commute from our house. The place is always full so maybe come early. I also highly recommend their noodle soup, the beef flavor really taste exceptional.

Calgary’s Best Vietnamese cuisine! I tried Beef Pho noodle soup here and ofc it was amazing :) can’t wait to go back!
