Nice coffee shop with excellent beans for take away or dining in. They have a menu for food during the day that includes donuts, scones, avocado toast, and various egg sandwich options. It’s a go to coffee place whenever I visit Calgary.
Delicious coffee and hoopla donuts here. DONUT go anywhere else for a good spot to catch up with a friend or get some work done. Great atmosphere and the neighborhood is really nice to walk around as well. I’ll be back! Girlfriend and I got trapped by a truck when we were trying to leave, thought i would add that in because it was funny
Great coffee. Good service. They replaced most of the baking with gourmet donuts. The donuts are good but I don't always want a sugar glazed piece of dough sprinkled in more sugar. I'd like to see croissants, GF brownies, healthy berry muffins, Pettit pain au chocolat and lemon tarts come back. And$5.50 for an actually small coffee is a gouge.
We had the breakfast sandwiches (bacon and the sausage ones) along with coffee and donuts. The sandwiches were nice and fresh unlike most breakfast sandwiches. The best part though is the coffee.
What a beautiful space. No wonder people come here to work, meet and relax. Great, friendly service. $7.50 (after tip) for a small oat latte is .. getting a bit up there ..
To die for Avo toast, amazing chai tea, great lattes, friendly staff. Losing one star for the dry donuts we always get. Donuts haven’t seemed fresh - they seem like day olds - they seem stale and, not fresh light airy donuts.
I usually like their donuts and coffee. But today I asked for a large latte and got a whole bunch of milk with little coffee. I asked the lady to make me a new one at the expense of sounding like a Karen, and she made a new one. Unfortunately it was still the same and tasted off.Edit: The coffee is way better now!
Nice cafe with great coffee, excellent cookies and donuts, and a small food menu serving sandwiches (8am-3pm).Falafel sandwich was excellent!Limited plug-ins for laptops (it's an older building) but they can be found. Would recommend bringing an extra long charging cable to use an outlet at an adjacent table if you have one!
I've been here two times in a week's span and this is an enjoyable atmosphere. I'm glad to see this cafe keeping busy and it's in a lovely community; Maria Loop.
Came here with a friend. She had a coffee and I had a hot chocolate. Fast friendly & service. Hot chocolate wasn't as sweet as I thought it was going to be. It was actually quite bitter. It was very loud inside and hard to have a conversation.
