Literally the worst food ever. I hate them, I hate their staff, and I hate the way they treat customers. They don’t care if you ordered over $100 worth of items, they will harass you about a review that SOMEONE ELSE posted. So yeah you lost our business too after what you did to our friend and now you even deleted / blocked her review. Shady people, DO NOT EAT HERE unless you want to verbally harassed over the food and be accused of leaving bad reviews which you never did
If i had the option of zero star i would have done that, we ordered balochi saji and some kabobs, saji was fully uncooked and was smelling bad, moreover the kabobs were dry and bad not even edible, The naan or roti was 110 percent from the previous day, Do not try if u have pakistani taste
The Chapli Kabab’s are the real deal, they are perfectly spiced, cooked perfectly, and nice and authentically large. Also, the Gulab Jamun’s are amazing. Everything we ordered was great. We opted for pickup, but they do offer indoor dining as well.
I will break this review down into two sections, the interior decor and the food. The interior decor is lacking with walls that are somewhat dirty as well as the chairs. The restaurant is smaller than others nearby which might turn away some people. There is a lack of decorations and no music is being played. The food is the strong suit of this location. We ordered the sheikh kebab as well as the chapli kebab as well as the chicken and fish tikka. The meat was well seasoned and was slightly overcooked, with the fish tasting better than most I've had. They seem to go a bit light on the spiciness overall which is good if you aren't a fan of very spicy food. The chicken karhai is somewhat sweet, which some people like and others don't. Personally, I enjoyed the sweetness and the lower levels of spice but there was some inconsistency with how cooked the food was. I noted that the chicken karhai was lightly cooked and many of the other things they had slightly overcooked.Overall the restaurant has good food, good service, and good value but the cooking and decor can be improved upon.
Not so great experience here. Ordered the mutton kadai, it was less spicy and a bit sweet for my taste. The naans are really huge though, liked the size of them. The quantity of the kadai was less for the price. Also tried out the Chicken Sajji, a Baloch dish with whole chicken and rice. Haven't tried this ever before so can't compare with the authentic version. But the rice was too bland and the chicken was like any average grilled chicken. The masala inside the chicken wasn't cooked completely and was wet.Just an average restaurant, nothing crazy. Wouldn't recommend.
Ordered chapli kebab and charsi mutton karahi. The kebab is the best in Calgary soft from insode crispy from outside flavorful and juicy. Food was packed very nicely so the food stayed warm by the time i reached home. Good job on this. But my biggest disappointmemr was mutton karahi. Guys the meat seemed to be tough and it looked like aa if the meat is those cheap frozen stew cut meat you gett it in superstore. Adding to that karahi itself was tastong of raw can tomato paste.I would recommend the chapli kebab but do not waste your 21 $ on the karahi...
Pathetic!!!!! They are HIGHLY Unprofessional. Sells frozen, rotten food. Please save yourselves! We placed an order a and told them we will pickup at 700 pm .... , the lady on call was not even bothered to note our names and hung up. We called again after a while and made her take our order, and she said please just inform us 15 minutes before coming...... what the heck! Even then I insisted to try them ... since i'm from Peshawar, to have their food. It was half frozen, half stinky.....we were extremely disgusted. Dont go!! If u want Peshawari food, try kabob fusion.
I went here with a friend and had a dish called halwa puri or however you spell it -- I have no idea. Anyways, it tasted great and the owners did a great job at making us feel welcome; they even asked us what we thought about the food and whether anything could've been improved. This place is a good spot to go to if you want to enjoy a nice, calm environment while you eat Peshawari-style food.
Good food. Lovely Kebabs. Highly recommended if you love kebabs.
Chapli kebabs were excellent but the 'charsi' tikkas were not tender. Nice seating arrangement and a friendly owner. Good tea to conclude the meal at the end. Service could be a little faster. Overall good experience.
