Great house beer and the beef sliders with whipped feta or buffalo chicken burgers are well worth the visit.Overall excellent service in a very comfortable setting. One of our favourite pubs.The patio is nothing special but it’s nice to be able to sit outside in the summer.

It's a totally relaxed atmosphere. The waitresses,bartenders were very friendly. Definitely would back there again. The poutine was really good.

I had never heard of this place before and was glad to have the chance to try it out today. The food is really good and the service was stellar. They have all of the pub favorites so there was plenty to choose from.Will definitely go back
Great burger and plentiful of fries and nice bonus of the kettle chips. Only went in during happy hour so the service was great during the quiet afternoon hours. Would come back again!
Literally my favourite spot to sit back and enjoy some quality food and drinks. I’d highly recommend the steak bites, king jack burger and the butter chicken poutine. They also have a great selection of top shelf drinks excluding Johnny walker blue. I’d really like to see that added. Overall a 10/10 chill spot and grub grab.
Penny Black is currently one of my favorite places to Eat. It checks all the boxes. Great food, specials, events, staff, and management. Clearly this is a great place, not just to dine, but to work at.There's 4 main sections of this pub, whether it was planned this way or not, it's genius. There's the staple "bar" area right at the entrance, there's a pink, lush neon area of booths off to the right, which is opposite to a smaller, more unique area full of cool artwork and clever decor, complete with a fireplace. To top it all off, there's an Outdoor Patio, which is perfect, when the weather decides to co-operate.I love Penny Black, and I hope to visit as often as I can. In the meantime, go check out their sister locations, The Station & The Park restaurants in Riverbend & Quarry Park!
