From time of arrival to the finish of our meal all was great. Tasty food, attentive service and nice atmosphere.
Our dinner reservation was for 5:30 to celebrate an 88th birthday. We ordered drinks and appetizers. Those arrived quickly and we began to eat. Then within 5 minutes, our main entrees arrived. We had to put our appetizers aside to eat the main course. The pasta was chewy in one dish and the seafood was very over cooked in another. We had stopped eating to chat and suddenly we were offered take out containers and the bill arrived immediately after. We were in the restaurant for 45 minutes from start to finish. We felt like we were being rushed through our mediocre meal. Had I wanted fast food, I would have eaten elsewhere and save $150. This was our first and last visit to this restaurant.
1st time here and Went for lunch. Really nice looking restaurant. Clean and nicely designed. Not busy during the lunch hour. Service was friendly but a bit eager (as they wanted to keep busy during a slower time). Food was good although I found the prices high. Post Pandemic is definitely a factor in higher prices (in all restaurants). We would come back with the family for dinner.
Just ok here. Went for an earlier dinner (415pm). Restaurant was very quiet only about 4 other tables and a few people at the bar. There was many staff around. Was seated fast, took a bit for menus to come. We asked for one still and one sparkling water, recived both sparkling. No one mentioned about the bread bar (we weren't sure if it was part of the meal or not) We took a chance ourselves and went to the bread bar and there was a great choice of butters. Sadly 2 of the bread offerings were just plain old sliced grocery store bread.Meals were very tasty.
The best restaurant in Calgary, very good service, they were so accommodating to our big group seating requirements ?, the chef is brilliant, I ordered the crusted cod and I was so specific on the amount of sauce. The chef prepared it exactly as wanted besides, the spaghetti was cooked with little oil and not as many restaurants who add lots of butter to boost the taste. These guys are certainly are preparing the best food in the city.
Ordered over the phone, clarified my meal has to be gluten free and dairy free. Went to pick up order, paid for order then asked again if my meal was gluten free, she said it wasn't. So then the manager came over and made mine and my husband's meals fresh. They substituted my potatoes with sautéed veggies which I agreed to. When we opened the orders we found there was no toast in my husband's order and no gluten free toast in mine. The eggs in my husbands order were very raw. My veggies had lots of seasoning making it taste more like a stir fry which tasted good but not what I wanted for breakfast. We ended up just eating our leftover takeout from yesterday
We felt very rushed The decor certainly wasnât as nice as NE location Didnât have a great experience and wonât be going back
We really enjoyed our dinners. Came for my daughters birthday- she picked here. She got 23% off her meal. Was great.
It was a good experience, the bread bar is just every day grocery store bread you our butter on and grill. In house baked bread would have been really nice. Food wise or was good, our waitress was fantastic!
We came for brunch on Father's Day and although they were short staffed, we were never ignored and the food was delivered hot and fresh. We appreciated a full carafe of coffee left at the table. The prices and portions are good, and the selection on the menu has both classic and unique choices. Very relaxed and enjoyable place to start the day.
