This place used to be awesome, I was actually the second ever customer at oolong tea house. The company sold to new owners and the vibe has been way off ever since. Used to be a warm cozy vibe, now it’s crowded and cold and everything is jammed together, but worst of all, the staff I’ve been unfortunate enough to meet are literally the worst kind of people. This new skittles generation are the worst at customer service and basic human decency.

Last evening, my friend and I arrived at 6:00 PM, chose our teas, and paid with the maximum suggested gratuity. When the the woman making our teas served them in to-go containers having not asked whether we’d be staying or leaving, we asked for presses and cups. She stated “we close in a hour.” When advised that we planned to depart sooner than closing hour and reiterated that we would like teaware, the server refused, citing “that will mean I have so many dishes to do.” To be clear: she did not want to do what she is paid to do (I assume having to do dishes is part of her job description), nor did she want to provide the basic level of customer service after being tipped by us. At 6:50, the same server came around to the tables, advising everyone that the shop was closing (not in a customer service-oriented last-call way; the connotation was undeniably “get out”).I would have pointed out that closing at 7:00 PM (Covid hours) - and being rushed up to an hour prior - is ridiculous, given that restrictions are lifted, and demand is existent (as indicated by the shop being packed), but seeing that I will never return, the point is moot. I will support literally any other local business.

ExpensiveAnd really don't know why. We're not tea connoisseurs but I'll have to say it wasn't that good. However we were on a walk and appreciated the ambience and service bringing our teas right to our table.

I got $23,000 with $4500 all by the assistance of MRS ARIELLA CRYPTO who is the best Forex merchant and bitcoin exchanging reach her by means via [email protected] whatsApp number: +1(413)423-2035

What a wonderful tea shop. Patient and brilliant staff, delicious creations for eating and sipping, and lots of tea and kitchen related items for sale. Also worth mentioning is the art on display and for sale. Will definitely be returning to this Kensington gem.

Best place for tea. Lovely rustic setting with a wide range of healthy organic teas. Great service too. Limited space for indoor sitting. Outdoor sitting available too. Definitely worth a visit!

Oolong tea was sold to new owners a few years ago and since then I’ve given this place a few chances but I just am unsatisfied every time. I miss the way it used to look and it’s sense of community. The employees now seem stuck up and don’t seem like they care at all. Back in the day the employees used to sit beside you and get to actually know you. Food menu is constantly changing, they’ve taken away all the gluten free options for sandwich’s which really sucks. The vibe is different. Besides those reasons, the tea is good.

Oolong is an absolutely wonderful place in Kensington. Your food is sublime, and their drinks are fantastic. My girlfriend surprised me for Christmas with a tea set from them, and I love all the flavours.

I picked this place specifically to try for the first time, to support a place that was implementing the vaccine passport due to the negative previous review. The staff was very friendly, the tea and pastry was delicious, and the patio in the back was lovely!! Will 100% return.

This is such a lovely little tea house. The atmosphere inside is welcoming and friendly, the displays are so beautiful, and most of all the drinks and food are SUPERB! Seriously, if you're looking for a great place to sit and get some work done, or even meet with a friend, I highly recommend checking out this place! Also: the staff are so kind and lovely, they truly care about you as a customer, the service is excellent.
