Great chicken very juicy and crunchy at the same time. The bone in chicken had the perfect amount of seasoning. This is one of my favorite chicken spots in Calgary. Great friendly welcoming customer service. The boneless chicken was flavourful and my kids really liked it. Ogam Korean fried chicken is some of the best chicken you can get, an Evan T. Davis original recommendation if you are in the Chinook area in Calgary.??
Have been to three Korean chicken places in Calgary and was not terribly impressed. This is the best one I’ve been to so far.
Exceptional costumer service. I was waiting outside since I have no car or place to wait nearby, but she let me in and even give me a bottle of water while waiting.Plus the chicken is 1000% delicious. Definitely my go-to next time.
If you never had Korean fried chicken you are missing out! Korean fried chicken is so crispy and it isn't oily and the Ogam does it justice. The pieces are huge and fried to perfection! I absolutely adore it! It's always been consistently good here and the service is amazing too! I highly recommend this place :)
I’ve always loved eating in Ogam, however I find that it’s quite expensive there. Oh especially the calamari, it’s $11 for literally 5 pieces! U can’t complain tho because the menu actually says “5 pieces of calamari for $11”. Absolutely insane! I went there with 2 friends and we didn’t read the 5 pieces part, so we were wondering how we would share the 5 pieces lol.Anyway, chicken is absolutely amazing and their pork belly. And staff are amazing!
Oh my word! This place is so good. The staff are so friendly and fun to talk to. The food is divinely delicious and so wonderfully saucy. Their menu made everything look so delicious and we had a hard time deciding what to eat. We over ordered and our leftovers were delicious too! Can’t wait to get back to Calgary to visit again.
Love it. Crispy chicken like no other... Wow. Staff was very friendly.Terriaky chicken had a bit more sauce that I could bare but it was prepared well! And the Soju... Wow, juice that makes you tipsy lol... Loved it! Would recommend!
A friend and I went to this restaurant today... We were pleased with the food as well as the price. The staff we're friendly and accommodating. We had the chicken and onion rings. The chicken was tender and juicy(Not greasy) the onion rings had some kind of cheese powder on them, I was skeptical at first, but learned it was amazing. I highly recommend this restaurant... we will be going back again. 5⭐
The good: crispy batter. The not so good: too much batter, overall under seasoned and lacking flavour, chicken meat not as good as competitors, and price higher than competitors. Your not going to eat this and say its no good but its not all its cracked up to be. Go try k-Town fried chicken!
Probably one of the best Korean fried chicken places in Calgary, great texture and doesn't feel overly greasy. All flavours are great, with my fav being the creamy garlic (be prepared to taste garlic for the rest of the day) and seasoned as my go twos...
