Stopped by for breakfast with friends around 1 pm. Place was bumpin, but we were sat right away. We were initially sat inside, but it was very loud, so we moved to the patio with was much quieter in comparison. The latte was very good and quite large. I opt in for a spicy ceaser and it was as spicey as I was hoping! I also ordered the laks & laks of bagel. Was very tempted to flex and get the caviar, but opt out. The bagel was large and came with a side. I was jumping between a few items of the menu before I decided, but after looking up a few pictures of the meals online, it was a clear choice for me. I came in very hungry and left very full. Not a big breakfast/brunch guy myself, but I would definitely come again! 4 stars as it would have been great to have photos of the food option available!

Great experience and patio is pet friendly just gotta be tied outside. Can't go wrong with this franchise, always a pleasant experience and I think their patio is new. Don't recall it having a roof and such. Really nice!

Normally don't like brunch food but quite enjoyed OEB. Deserves the hype. The pork in the poutine was tasty but was overcooked and dry. Will try duck poutine next time.Chia seed pudding was better than expected.Portion sizes are pretty good.

On the recommendation of the server who was awesome, tried the Croque Madame. All I can say is wow. All super fresh ingredients. Just watch you don't drip. Great breakfast and coffee was excellent. Definitely will return. Lucky I was there on a slow day during the week, suggest reservations.

OEB has been one of my family’s favourite spot to go brunch! Specially if there is a special celebration. We have been very lucky to always get the food perfectly done! Just look at the medium done eggs. Their seasonings and selection are fantastic! The food quality, taste and prep are consistent! A reason why I will come back and highly recommend this spot to others.Recommendations? Their potatoes are famous! They are fry in duck oil and they are great texture and flavour. Also, The Bennys are fantastic! You can’t go wrong. We often have the salmon and the classic Canadian ones.Recently we tried their poutines and they were pretty good. We tried the Korean style beef and the duck one. Both tasty. Although, the duck one barely came with the cranberry sauce. Our server recommended to go half and half with the potatoes and the greens as having potatoes only can get a bit too heavy. That is a personal choice but if you want make it lighter add the green. I promise you will still get a very reasonable amount of potatoes. We order the poutines both ways and having greens made a difference in flavour too. But hey that is a personal choice.Gluten free? Yep! They have items that are gluten free and vegan. You can also ask to make your bennys gluten free as I did in the past.Their waffles are fantastic and their pistachio crepe is amazing! Highly recommended.A CON for this location is their reservation system and the service offered over the phone when attempting to make one.I tried to make a reservation over the phone but this location does NOT make any over the phone -that’s what I was told. Instead they ask the customer to do it on Yelp or to go to their website. The latter was incorrect, do not go to the OEB web. Is confusing, it is not a reservation program but a service called “wait list”. It is a useless wait list where you add personal info (name and phone number) and it “confirms” that it will text you on the day and time to remind you to add your name in their wait list at a specific time and date. Needless to say that is doesn’t works. Tried to use it twice and it never sent any reminders. I wonder what happens to the personal info data people leave there. I called the restaurant and there was no record of the wait list reservation. I even went there at the time I selected and they said to try again because my name wasn’t there. They pretty much ask the client to try again while they are looking at you and ask you to step aside and wait. Another 10 minutes and when you approach the employee again they tell you the name is not there and that they will see in their system - rolling eyes- and then you wait another 20 minutes for them to have a table open. A waste of time and energy.Second, when I asked to make a reservation at 12:30pm and they informed me to do it in Yelp I was not told that they don’t take any after 10am. So if you see that Yelp does not have anything after 10am is not that they are booked or that the app has a glitch, OEB Mission does not take any reservation after 10am Monday to Friday. None taken on weekends. The app does not have that info available and often the OEB Mission staff do not inform that there is no reservation taken after 10 am Mon to Fri.The area is great if you feel like Going for a walk - much needed if you have too much delicious food ;) - there are quite a few stores and it is nearby the elbow River walk.

If I were on death row, and granted a final meal before my untimely demise, I would choose the classic Benny from OEB.It's just that good. In fact it's the most perfect meal I've ever had the pleasure to eat. It's so good, that it actually makes me mad, because I'm unable to have it every single day.Never had a bad experience at OEB. It's my happy place. If you have the means, I highly recommend you stop by, and experience the greatness that is there brown butter hollandaise. You will have no regrets.

We go to OEB all the time. It’s a favourite breakfast spot in Calgary. There are several locations but this one is one of the bigger ones. You can walk up, pop your name on the wait list and then bop around mission to Lulu lemon across the street, or grab coffee at Starbucks or purple perk etc while you are waiting. It’s a bright and colourful spot with a huge menu. Difficult to decide what to order. There is substitution for arugula salad instead of hashbrowns as a side or with the breakfast bowls, which I highly recommend. Pictured here is the farmer omelette (x2) and traditional eggs Benedict. It’s kid friendly, they have both booster seats and high chairs. There is a small room available for private or quieter event. During the week day we can usually walk in but it’s always steady. On weekends you can expect to wait a bit. Call in advance to book reso. They used to be on nowait app to book yourself in line, but I think that app has changed. Good service. Reasonable prices. Food comes fast. Excellent breakfast spot! Heated outdoor patio thats enclosed, and is plenty warm even in winter. We go at least once a month! Thanks OEB. See you soon!

First time at OEB, and they have really great food and service. I would've given 5-stars, however, we had 2 gift cards that we gave to the server to put towards our bill ($50 each) and she came back and said that 1 of the gift cards was $0. She tried it again in front of me, and it showed $0. I let her know that these cards were given to us as a gift, and it was our first time at OEB, so it shouldn't be $0 on the 1 card. I also let her know I checked the balances on the cards before we came, and it verified that it had $50 each. She said maybe I checked the same card twice, and I said no, I checked each one. Long story short, she spoke with her manager, and we can see that they were trying to figure out what happened. Mean time on our end, we called our friend, and he verified that he purchased the cards from Costco, so they were $50 each. The manager came back and said there was a mix-up between 3 cards, and she found our other $50 card.NOTE: If you have gift cards, please have the server swipe the cards at your table to avoid any mix-up, just the same as when you pay with a credit card. Don't let them take your cards and swipe at the register away from your table. We'll be back again, but we'll ensure payment is done at our table in the future.

Simply the best breakfast meal I had in Calgary. Their Mocha is delicious, make sure to get whipped cream on top ?

Great service. We’d made a mistake and booked at the wrong location. When I mentioned my mistake they took care of us right away. The smoked salmon Benny was great. The crab Benny was good but I’d stick to the salmon The potatoe wedges were on point. I’m not much of a potato fan. But I ate every bite
