great food and atmosphere
Went on a Monday morning and this place was bumping! We had great service by our waitress as well as by the young man who sat us and the person who took our payment. The food was very good, I got the classic eggs enedict with ham. The hollandaise sauce was very light, citrusy and delicious. Would recommend!
OEB is OMG! Reasonably priced, flavorful meals with a wide variety of options to suit many dietary considerations. The staff was super attentive and friendly and the atmosphere was light and vibrant. We used to go to this place pretty often but took a break for the past 6 months or so. Three of us went this morning (Sat July 16) and sadly it was very very average. Not sure what's happened. Obviously there potatoes cooked in duck fat were delicious. They told me duck fat is not available at this time so cooking in tallow, I have no idea if duck fat is or isn't available, but the potatoes are now just average. Unfortunately so was the rest of the three breakfast meals we had. Don't know what's happened but please pick it back up before you become just another breakfast place.

What a fantastic breakfast restaurant. The menu is huge and everything we tried was excellent. I had the duck and perogie breakfast and loved it. The staff were great. I’d eat at any of this restaurant locations again
Tried out OEB what a great place for breakfast it’s not my first time in Calgary but I’m not always in the city centre staff were great super helpful and friendly very easy going and laid back atmosphere which is nice they do pride themselves in using as much local produce as possible that’s what caught my eye and we decided to go here i went for a omelette style breakfast my partner went traditional. All in all a good experience breakfast tasty good service was organized staff really good. Looking forward to going back
I've only been twice but both times the food was great and despite being very busy the servers were fast and attentive.The ingredients are very fresh and the portions are just right.Pictured is their Soul in a Bowl breakfast poutines. It was delicious!
Really quite good. I had the classic pouting and it was a touch salty. The rest of the dishes we ordered were fantastic. Prices initially appear high but when you get the food you realize there is good value to be had.
