Popular place, quite busy especially weekends. Good for small and large parties and if you like Korean food and drinking.
Always enjoy a meal at Namsan! The food is soooo good probably the best Korean I’ve had in Calgary. It never disappoints. Their portions are pretty large too so I think this place suits larger groups as well. Service is very nice as always .
They were phenomenal with our son’s dietary restrictions. Thank you for taking the time to chat and make him feel like he could be included. Very friendly and fast staff. We’ll definitely be back!

This place is so hospitable and great and honestly deserves all the good reviews it got. We went in during a busy night without a reservation and from beginning to end felt very welcome by the super kind staff and the food was timely and delicious as well. Everyone at the restaurant were so cheerful and welcoming despite how busy the restaurant was. I will definitely visit again in the future and if you're looking for good, authentic Korean food with wonderful staff, you've found the right place!

It was our first time as a family to visit this wonderful restaurant nearby the church that my family attends downtown last Dec. 19, 2021. Our great dinner has been served by Stephen and Anne. They're both welcoming and serve us incredibly with such as smiling faces, and friendliness. The way they approached us and even talked to us is above average. They are world-class experts in their fields. Stephen and Anne deserve to have a raise. They love serving patrons with an authenticity like no other in the world.Our second time was more than a week ago when we have been served by Dawn (Don) **I don't know the spelling. He served us excellently and truly connected with us. We had a conversation a little bit about life in general. He was so kind and open. He is a truly down-to-earth individual.I would say the staff here at Namsan are consistent in loving people and serving the guest. This is a great atmosphere to recommend for eating.
I’ve been here twice now and have loved both of my experiences. The service is exceptional, the servers were very accommodating, friendly, patient, and helpful. And the food is spot on as well :)
Had a late late Saturday night dinner.. the service and food was awesome ??Even though it was very late, everyone (staff) was accommodating and did not rushed us.And ordering last minute food can be “iffy” but no here, it taste really great
Everything taste very good, doesn’t matter which dishes you order, everything will impress you deeply! I love the pork bone soup here, I love the stir fried chicken gizzards here, and I love the baby octopus ? stew here!Service wise is depends on which server serve you, there is a guy maybe a manager he is the one who has the best customer service I think ?Highly recommend this place! Food is very delicious! One of my favourite place!
