We get their sushi for take out from time to time and the quality of this place has stayed pretty consistent. The seafood they use (we have ordered rolls and nigiri before using salmon, tuna, scallop) is quite fresh and tasty. The rolls aren't packed with a thick layer of rice and overall, has a good balance of ingredients and flavors which is very appreciated. The portion size is pretty hefty as well. In the pictures are the red eye roll, soft shell crab roll, and Nami roll.What has not changed is how messy they can be: over the last year, the rolls (not all of them) tend to fall apart when you pick them up. If you have good chop stick skills, it can help you from time to time but Nami can do a bit better in this aspect to refine their food. Otherwise, be prepared to have a little bit of a mess!This is still going to be a regular place for me and hopefully, will see improvements (and new things to try) over time!
NAMI TOWER was amazing! Such a great amount of sushi and variety!! Very tasty!!Would have like a larger drink menu, but we made do!
Good sushi, hefty portions and excellent staff. Always cleaning and friendly. My only negative feedback is menu needs more photos or descriptions on specialty items such as "Monkey Brains" and "Fall in Love".
You know those little places people talk about that are undiscovered hidden gems? This place is ABSOLUTELY one of them. Been here a couple of times and the quality is superb. Best Sushi ive ever had (counting USA, Canada + about half of Europe). Will definitely be back when next time traveling to Calgary! (Hopefully Party tray A is still available by that time!)
Love the sushi here!! Portions are big and I always feel satisfied eating there. I usually order and have it delivered. I found it hard to go pick up because there is no parking anywhere. They are always excellent with requests with extra ginger and gluten free soy sauce. They always get it right!! I’ve eaten there at least a dozen times.
I don't understand how this place has such high reviews. The sushi fell apart the moment you picked it up. The fish tasted really unfresh, and the tuna was this weird dark color. They smother the rolls in sauce that leaves a film on your tongue and strange aftertaste, probably because of the amount of salt in it. Tofu had a hard exterior, and bland as hell. Waste of a dinner - even mall sushi tastes better than this. Why did we come here?

Amazing sushi, the mango roll with the smoked salmon was my favourite but everything they made was honestly made to perfection. You can also order from them directly and they will deliver it through their own forces and provide a 10% discount for doing so. Definitely worth the try, I’ll be coming back here. Tuna tataki was great too.
It was my boyfriend's birthday and I searched long and hard for a place open of Mondays and luckily Nami Sushi was! I made a reservation and casually mentioned that it was for my boyfriend's birthday. The staff were extremely friendly; they wished my boyfriend happy birthday and also gave us free dessert. The food was also delicious and the server there made some good recommendations when we were unsure of what to order. I would come here again. :)
LOOOVEEEE this sushi place! It’s the only sushi place I order from in Calgary. Fresh ingredients and always made to perfection. My favorite rolls are the salmon avocado, spicy salmon and Calgary flames. Their spring rolls are yummy too! I highly recommend also trying their dragon balls, you won’t regret it. Definitely going to keep ordering from here.
