UPDATE: MAY 2022=================This was my first visit at the new location. As always like the previous location, this one does not disappoint. Great meal for my lady and I. Good tap beer, tasty Caesar cocktails and real fine food. Our server (Helina) was friendly and very attentive. All this in a fabulous atmosphere. Prices were consistent with the inflated economy. We will both return here again and look forward to our next visit.====================================================================I return here often for the fine pub grub and comfy atmosphere. The nachos are always crisp, never soggy and the toppings are always fresh and delicious including the jalapenos. Good tap beer selection. Prompt and friendly staff. I'll be back.
This place is amazing! We had a 50+ person event and they went above and beyond. Melanie was an excellent waitress who served us all. She was friendly, fast and helpful. Falyn helped us book the room and we had a last minute change and the pub readily helped!! Our group was well taken care of and we had ordered many pizza's and it was fantastic!Thank you to all that helped us have a successful party for our members and we will be back!!! ???
Went for a burger and a beer with a friend and was not disappointed. They did have a couple of craft beers to choose from, would like to see a few more. The service was prompt and friendly. The mushroom Swiss burger had two good sized patties and they were juicy and tasty and the burger was well portioned and condimented (is that a word?). Comes with actual fresh cut fries which is always a bonus. Server gave me too much cash back on my bill by mistake, but I caught her in time. Only disappointed that the pool tables were off limits still.
Super excited to come back here after a long break. This was a frequent local watering hole when it was Riverstone. It looks really good inside and the atmosphere is even better now as Moose's. Honestly wasn't even too disappointed in the relatively high prices as these are tough times and I want to support local. Food was delicious and good portion size.Unfortunately the whole experience was marred by our server who came to our table at 5:55 and proceeded to tell us the specials and then we ordered drinks since it was happy hour until 6pm. The waitress looks at her watch and it literally turns 6:00 as she looks at her wrist and she says sorry, she can't give us the happy hour special anymore, despite coming to our table well before 6pm. Really disheartened by the blood-contract happy hour fascism displayed here. I am coming in, supporting your local, even paying above average prices for the food/experience and you can't give me an extra minute for 1 happy hour beer? It isn't even the money as I was only saving a couple bucks, just the attitude and lack of consideration was cold, distasteful and very unfriendly. Riverstone was much more of a friendly, family, happy you are here atmosphere and it is unfortunate that Moose's policies aren't as amenable. Pretty disappointing to say the least and left the bar feeling like the good ol days do not live here no more.
Only really been for lunch, but great place for a burger or beef dip. Pretty packed when I was there for wing night. Really like the people who work there!
Used to go there when it was in Stadium and enjoyed it. Like the new location, menu is pricy, and food is horrible, so after 3 tries we will never go back! First time ordered the pork ribs, they were dry/ overcooked, the worse part they were so stinky I couldn't even try one and had to get the waitress to take them back before I puked.. Next time tried wings, described on the menu as "double cooked". They were boiled, rubbery and tasteless. The waitress argued that they were grilled, but they were pale and didn't have a single grill mark. Needless to say we couldn't even eat them. Also tried nachos and for $24 you would expect a decent sharing platter. Hard to screw up nachos but they came with 1 tiny (2 tbsp) plastic containerof salsa to share and $4 if you wanted more. Three strikes, your out! This is not the Moose Mcguires it used to be.
Went for the wings and was not disappointed. Great neighbourhood pub. The couch seating was really cool.. suicide wings could have been spiceier. They were flavourful though.
Amazing! Beautiful and big sports bar/lounge. Not too many tvs. I really like that. Staff was ALL very pleasant. Half priced appies on mondays so had to try the fish tacos. Amazing! Will definitely go back!
Nice corner pub, with excellent food and friendly staff. Not much has changed since Riverstone Pub has gone out of business, but there have been some small renovations. There are VLT's, a few pool tables and a dartboard as well. There is also a fair amount of parking space out front.
Massive wings on wing night, very good steaks on steak sandwich night. We were there with a group of eight people and our server Rachel was excellent. She was quick with our orders and she was friendly and helpful.
