The food is amazing, and pricing is fair compared to other breakfast places. I feel you get more bang for your buck here compared to paying the same at Dennys or Ricky's.I had the Brisket Poutine, no extras. It was super tasty, with a soft poached egg. Plenty of sauce and the brisket was delicious.Now, the service was not good. We found the server to be incredibly slow, and not attentive. We sat for nearly 15 minutes with our dishes off to the side with empty glasses and had to flag someone down.The wait list didn't seem to matter. We added to the wait list when we started our 30km drive to the restaurant arrived and were told about 45 mins which was fine. They never text us to let us know tables were open. We went back in when we saw 3 tables open and the guy gave attitude saying "I guess we can sneak you in".If the service was better, and the wait list wasn't such a joke this place would earn a 5* no problems though.
Friendly staff, delicious food, and a great looking location.Can’t really ask for more.Came in this morning for some breakfast, the reverse French toast and the morning after breakfast hit the spot. Good selection of hot sauces, and the coffee was great.Can’t wait to visit again!

I always wanted to try this brunch, I was always told such good things about it! It met my expectations! The food is super super cool, just look at the pictures! We tried the reversed toast I think it was called? and the salmon bene I believe. The staff was super friendly as well! Such a cool experience. Only down side is they don’t have much alcoholic beverages apart from beer and the mimosas. But overall, a very cool experience. Just be prepared to spend some money. It’s not the cheapest but definitely worth the money.
Great atmosphere, good location where you can find parking easily vs the other location dtBreakfast tacos 8/10 - theses were surprisingly very good! Only thing I would change is to add more of the chipotle sauceReverse French toast 6/10 - this was very sweet, less chocolate drizzle would have been way better and I wish the inside was more compotey, seemed like it was just fresh strawberries in between, I feel some crumbled pistachios would have been great alsoOverall would recommend and go back to!
Monki's waiting list is a complete joke, DO NOT trust the wait times they give you as you will probably be waiting much, much longer- an hour and a half longer, in our case, as well as other people we spoke to while crammed into their doorway to try to stay warm on a freezing cold day. One group left as they had been told five minutes and then waited over an hour, only to be told there were still TEN parties ahead of them. The host with the little lap-top will straight up lie to you- you're next, yeah right. All of this only to be served totally disappointing food with a side of attitude from our server. Disgusting undercooked eggs, half the listed items missing from my brisket hash, my daughter's toast was soggy and her smoked salmon was missing completely. The clincher to this whole ordeal was our server. After politely pointing out the frustration caused by our ridiculous wait, and the fact that at least an apology would be appreciated, NONE WAS GIVEN. Not by her, not by a manager, not by lap-top man, nothing. The mind boggles with the total lack of consideration and arrogance of this establishment. To our server- loudly calling everyone "Love, Sweetie, Honey" or whatever does nothing to make up for your complete lack of professionalism . It's patronizing, transparent and somehow actually makes things worse. Never again will you ruin my day, Monki.
The service was great. We had french toast that had peanut butter and bacon and banana. It was sweet and savory good. Also, we had the chorizo bowl and it was very good. Recommend this place for breakfast.
Everything was good, had bacon bene, so many options to choose from for bread choices. Waffle, gluten free, etc...never had that option before. I had it on waffle it was delicious, but too heavy for me and my small appetite.Server was friendly and efficient. Coffee was good. Just didn't like chairs, or seating. My bony butt can't handle benches or hard chairs, thankfully they had cushions to sit on... Clean bathrooms too
Absolutely delicious! It's a great brunch place, the food is fantastic, the staff are always attentive, I love this place. The Inglewood location is bigger than the 10th Ave location, but great experience at both.
