Second time at modern steak and it was amazing! The sommelier was super knowledgeable and made a great wine recommendation, and the service was great overall. I love the filet trio, and the 3 different salts provided on the side were a great touch as well. The manager stopped by to check in and see how we were doing, which really showed the commitment to hospitality!
This was our first time at Modern Steak at this location. Everything was delicious and perfect, so compliments to the chef. The most amazing part of our experience was our server Ryan. He was kind, knowledgeable, and made us feel like we were royalty. The place was very busy and Ryan went above and beyond to make our experience special. Fabulous job Ryan!
We were a party of 5. Three got steaks and thought they were decent. Two of us got risotto (one shrimp, one muchroom). Mushroom was almost inedible. Very salty, rice chewy, no creaminess to it. Shrimp was salty, and brothy. Service was good, restaurant is beautiful.

Easily the best in the city if I dare say Canada. Professional service, amazing menu with a large selection of beef from all over Alberta plus a Japanese Wagyu menu. The wine list is large and priced well with some absolute favourites. I caution you this isnât an old school steak house itâs vibrant lively and engaging. I love the vibe and would recommend to anyone that enjoys a Vegas style steak experience.
Not worth it! The ladies who attended us are not trained to provide acceptable customer service; the worst I have seen in Canada. The food is not at par with the price at all⦠I would not recommend it to my friends for sure.
Service was very very slow. Food was not as good as normal. No one took the time to explain the menu. Extremely loud. People were dressed like it was a regular restaurant not top 10 in Canada. I been many times and had waaaaay better experiences than this.
