I've been taking my son to Michael's whenever we visit Calgary for nearly 15 years. A tradition that started when staff at the Fairmont Palliser recommended it to me. We've always found the food to be delicious and the staff friendly.Most recently, we went there after a competition and the pizza was just as fantastic as we remembered. We had four friends with us who had not been there before and everyone was impressed with the quality of the food.
Fantastic pizza and wonderful owners.I have been getting gluten free pizza here (I have celiac disease) for about 6 years and I've never been sick once. They're incredibly kind and careful about any requests and honestly this is the best pizza I've ever had in my life. That includes regular glutenous pizza. I can't recommend this place enough, wonderful gem in Calgary!
We ordered from here while we were visiting from BC and it was some of the best pizza I've ever had. I had their gluten free pizza, and with GF my standards are pretty low (I'm honestly just happy when places try to accommodate me) but the GF crust here was actually amazing, I was impressed! They are not cheap on the cheese either and you can tell they use an actual pizza oven. Highly recommend trying this place!!

Great pizza that is still as good as I remember!I used to work close to Michael's, so we in the office had it fairly regularly.Excellent ingredients, good crust (not too thick, or too thin) and NOT greasy.Anyway, this was my first time back in about 20 years, and yup, still great pizza!
Ridiculous ratings. Pizza is deep dish (hence typical North-American), but to put cheese on top of everything, so the other toppings can sweat (cook) while the pizza bakes, is preposterous. The order of things should be: tomato sauce on dough, then grated cheese, then every other topping. And have the Oregano ready. It is an ingredient embraced anywhere *but* USA and Canada it seems.
So wanted to try this pizza but won’t deliver to my area which is actually super close!! Please expand your borders! I know you deliver to garrison and we are much closer. We are actually only 5.3km away and you won’t deliver! Please reconsider!
Stopped in for a late takeout as we'd just arrived in Calgary on holiday and we're struggling to find somewhere to eat, we ordered two Pizzas and fries, one on a gluten free base and the other was standard. My wife said this was the best gluten free pizza she's had and I was really impressed with my own. Really nice herby tomato sauce and the base was really nice, filling without being too stodgy. I'd definitely recommend this place for pizza, both gf and non gf.
I would say its the best pizza in town. Delicious taste and friendly staff. Enjoyed my meal watching to Calgary tower.
We were in Calgary for the Stampede, staying at Marriot and stumbled upon this place on our way home. Ordered 2 medium for 5 of us and couldn’t finish both. Tons of toppings! The pizza was amazing Still dreaming about it a month later. I may return to Calgary one day just for the pizza.
