Overall a good ice cream shop. They have good and delicious ice cream, and also has good service and helpful staff. Prices are quite expensive compared to other shops (roughly $8 for a regular cone), but they are reasonable with coupons, which you can access on their website. Also, sign up for their newsletter for good deals and a birthday surprise.
Ugh - went here to get a couple tubs of dairy-free (yes it's brutal, but a condition none the less!), and the cashiers only pointed to one flavor. Upon asking if she had more- she said "maybe". I asked her to check, and the other employee said there was some in another freezer. So I went to the far side of the store where they had two different prices, and I asked for clarity because I wanted to buy two pints - same flavor but because it wasn't packaged that way, she said it was impossible to give me the price of a pint by combining the two half-pints. She seemed to not understand I was only asking because the other "dairy" products came in this size... but not the dairy-free. I asked If she could just package them Into a regular container (non 'dairy-free') and she said it was possible. I mean... it's not "impossible ", but she seemed really confused as to why I wanted this. I told her the price was a fraction of what it would be if I had to buy two separate... but it wasn't my fault they didn't have them in pint sizes!! Anyways ... she was super irritated and huffy-puffy rude with attitude when I asked if they could ask, she said "probably not" ... so I just left. Went to Safeway across the parking lot and got a better deal on what turned out to be amazing ice cream. Sorry Marble Slab - won't come back EVER AGAIN with staff attitudes and pricing like that!! Reviewing Eau Claire Location. Ordered a S’mores and and Chocolate Cookie dough. Handed the S’mores and told that’s all we have left. The Cookie dough came out twice as large. There were lots of way to make this right. I wasn’t offered any. Full price for both.
This place has great service and delicious ice cream.
First time at a marble slab. There are ALOT of choices here between ice cream, toppings, sauces, and cones. You can definitely get a pretty customized flavour. The ice cream itself isn't the best. Not as creamy as I would like but overall pretty good and you could go back 100 times and get something different each time which is cool.
This location was a below average in terms of service. Staff was clearly not interested in their job and the slab mix was half hearted. The ice cream by itself is a winner. Better to buy the take home tubs.
I ordered a tub of green tea ice cream and chocolate ice cream. You could taste how much they cheapest out on the flavours. Green tea tasted like gelatine and sugar and chocolate tasted like chalk. I paid $16 for bad flavours and they had a 'buy one get one half off deal' meanwhile I spent $15 at made by Marcus for 2 tubs of amazing tasting ice cream. I can't ever go to marble slab again
The cakes looked amazing and can be gluten free, so happy my nephew got his ice cream cake and I could have some too! The staff are super friendly too!
