Got the assorted laksa, nasi lemak with beef rendang, roti with curry and a milo bing - this was our first meal after landing and it did not disappoint! Laksa is always the best comfort food
An incredible hole-in-the-wall restaurant with some real true quality Malaysian dishes. Super delicious, we try to stop in here whenever we're in the area and craving some Asian cuisine!

Came here for lunch and ordered the covid-19 special platter. One of each of the curry chicken and beef Rendang curry. Didn't expect such a big serving, didn't end up finishing it and took it to go. Also ordered a Roti with Rendang curry as an appetizer, the roti was fluffy buttery and delicious.The restaurant is tucked away in a small plaza surrounded by industrial buildings so it's easy to miss it if you weren't looking. Definitely a hidden gem and would be back again in the near future to try the laksa!4/5⭐
Very nice presentation and authentic Malaysian food. Service was prompt and attentive as well. The prices were fair and each of our 3 dishes were well enjoyed. I would recommend the beef rendang and laksa as those are very popular in Malaysia
Excellent Laksa. The prices on Skip the dishes increased by a massive 30% today.I love the food but that's a big increase. I won't be able to justify ordering it as frequently.
The food here tatse great! Their curry and coconut based dishes are so flavorful. The roti (naan) bread is there best - hot, flakey, buttery!The prices are fair and the portion sizes is pretty good.
A hidden gem located in NE Calgary. They offer variety of South East Asian delicacies such as Malaysian Curry, Laksa, Nasi Goreng, Soup bowls. All variety of meats are available (Beef, Chicken, Pork), they also do seafood & vegetarian options of all the items.Sorry I could not capture the entire menu but I took the screenshot of drinks & dessert menu (Do try ABC - the last item, it's really good - condensed milk, beans, jelly, shredded ice)Note: This is NOT a HALAL restaurant (but you can always do vegetarian or seafood option without meats)The staff is very polite, accommodating and helpful. Last but not the least, food was tasty and I am glad I found this gem with a local friend of mine.
For a Malaysian far away from home, Mamak Dang is the next best thing. I've been coming here since 2018 and will keep returning for my favorite laksa and kolo mee. The chicken satay, roti canai and Bakuteh are also amazingly good. Please keep up the excellent service and good food. ??
Delicious. Fast, friendly service.Chicken curry was excellent, rendang curry beef also good.Fried wantons were super light and crispy.I am stuffed! But very happy.
