Amazing ice cream, friendly staff, good value!The ice cream was so delicious I had to go back the following day. I tried 7 flavours over my two visits and my favourite was the toasted hay and Saskatoon berry scoop ($3.5 for the junior one). The only flavour I didn’t love was the chocolate brownie one (vegan), but everything else was incredible - highly recommended.
Great local ice cream shop! They have monthly flavors that rotate, so it is always fun to come and see what is new that month! Some of them very VERY weird, like peanut butter pickle.. but others are super delicious like their toasted hay and Saskatoon berry.They also have a patio located on the back roof of the building which was a lovely spot to sit and eat.
The variety of flavors is totally amazing, also not common and very well combined. the place is very clean.

Beautiful looking store, coming here is like one of those dreams where you have to be good to come here... And there's good reason.... The ice cream is one of the best I've had. They don't have all the flavors of the world, but the flavor selection is good and focus on making it perfect is more important than quantity.2 scoops of Delicious. $7.50Monogram Expresso Pretzel ToffeeMarcona Almond Brittle GancheBoth were amazing. You can really taste the flavors as mentioned. You pay for quality and this is it.Would recommend. Would come back.
First off, the staff are amazing. Even in a busy retail store like this I've rarely felt so cared for and had a staff member focus on my experience so completely.The ice cream is fantastic! I've never tasted ice cream so good. And the gluten free and vegan and dairy free options are great, theres a variety, and staff are on the ball with cross contamination awareness and communication.It was a delightfully rich and satisfying experience, we will definitely be back!
Flew up from Portland for the week and loved it so much we filled out our whole punch card! The staff is awesome and it was definitely a highlight of our trip, Banff & Jasper included. The scooper we spoke with was like an instant friend, seriously! Wish we could stay in Canada longer! P.S. try the lemon saffron, it's not just a flavor, it's an experience. My fave is the chocolate honeycomb ?
Yummy and good quality ice cream. Got the bananas fosters and lemon curd. You can choose 2 flavors in a single scoop portion. Soft serve was good too.
Lots of street parking in their Kensington location. Many interesting flavours, I went with a classic chocolate and it was good but too sweet. Great pricing and good ice cream size.They have nice seating areas inside and out. I also like they have washrooms but they were a bit dirty. Curious to try other flavours.
For the third time now I've been given soft/melted ice cream. I went last night and the server said, "sorry, the ice cream is really soft" but still proceeded to give me the ice cream and no option to change it. To say the ice cream was soft was an understatement. It was dripping and melted. Not the service you'd expect and why did I pay a dollar tip and then get that? To top things off, the server didn't put the melted ice cream in the trash, she put it on top of the next fresh bucket, so the next 4 or 5 people are going to get melted cream too. Bizarre they can't keep ice cream cold during winter/spring. Won't be going during the summer.
WOW-i just read on facebook a lady’s terrible customer service she had with MADE BY MARCUS and disgusting business ethics they displayed!!! She bought into your “subscription” scam in which she received 4-5 different flavour of your pints every couple of months. She said when she ordered her flavours it asked if there were any allergies to which she responded yes her sister had sever nut allergies. She also received a phone call ensuring her that was no problem and she would not receive any pints with nuts or tree nuts. She said she received her first shipment and was extremely disappointed as there’s no ingredients labelled on the pints or any nutritional information ~~~this is actually against the law! To not have ingredients listed is pathetic and quite frankly life-threatening to many many people from MSG allergies to nut allergies to milk allergies. She was also disappointed as the only thing on the pints was the name such as “peach peche”which do we need to Google what this even is before we consume it? She and her sister each had a spoonful of the dairy free product and when she went to pick it up and turned the pint around it said made with cashew milk !!!cashew is a nut !!!!!!! her sister immediately spit it out and got sick. Do you not understand the life-threatening status of a nut allergy??? When she contacted Nicole she said that she would not be refunding her her money or allow her to leave the subscription service. That is very shoddy and an unprofessional way of handling customers. It wasn’t that they just didn’t like it it literally threatened the life of her sister‘s .It further went on to say that Nicole refused to talk to her and then she finally agreed to withdraw her from her subscription but she refused to refund the money. I’m so happy that MADE BY MARCUS is overflowing with money while all the other business’ are crying as they are desperate for customers to support them!!! MADE BY MARCUS must be swimming in money that they can afford to turn off customers this way!!! I am outraged and would never ever ever support a business that does not stand behind their product. She should have received a full reimbursement and an apology at minimum so be careful all of you people suffering allergens ~~MADE BY MARCUS will be greedy and take your money but won’t communicate with you or find a mutual solution when a problem arises. They’ll snatch away your money and then once you’re out the door forget that you even supported them !!!! SHAME, SHAME SHAME on you MADE BY MARCUS. YOU HAVE ZERO INTEGRITY Selling illegal product with NO INGREDIENTS LABEL OR NUTRITIONAL FACTS IS A HUGE BREACH IN ETHICS IN THE FOOD INDUSTRY. I WOULD NEVER EVER EVER SUPPORT A BUSINESS WHO DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS; ESPECIALLY IN THIS CASE AS THERE CAN BE FATAL CONSEQUENCES DO BETTER MADE BY MARCUS???
