This was my first time at Leo’s Bowness, usually I go to the Beltline location.Bowness was a nice change, great atmosphere, and fantastic patio. The location is perfect for anyone living in the area. Also, with this Leo’s being right on the bike route, it is fun to bomb out on bikes, have some food and beverages…either stay there for a while or continue your adventure!

Food was decent. My colleagues recommended this place for lunch so went by myself before I had to go to work, and it took forever. By the time my food got to me I had to ask for the bill because I had to leave. I think that maybe if they took my order faster I would have gotten my food faster? It was busy, but it felt like because I was alone that the other tables were prioritized above me. Which makes sense from a tip perspective, (bigger table bigger tips), but it kind of sucked that I didn't get to actually eat my lunch there. They were friendly enough I just kind of felt ignored.
A large group of us went to Leo’s and sat on the patio after our run on a Monday night. Paul was our server and he was the best. He wasn’t phased by our large and wacky group. He got all our food and drink orders correct and did it with a friendly smile. He also wasn’t annoyed when we all wanted to pay separately. I’ve been to this location many times - the food and eclectic atmosphere are solid. Highly recommend this place.

I live right near Leopolds and have tried to have a half decent meal there several times - it just keeps getting worse. Today I enjoyed a beer but had to send the soup of the day back. It was the most pitiful onion soup I had ever seen in my life. It came with brutal onion water broth, onions weren't cooked down, and no toast or cheese. I asked them to put the missing ingredients into the soup and they just threw some cheese on it. I sent it back and the server agreed that it looked horrible.
Pet friendly Great place to enjoy the patio. The fries and sweet fries are delicious, but the Taco Salad is a must try!
The patio is the best part because dogs are welcome. This used to be a great pub/restaurant, but lately the food has really gone downhill. Ordered Mac & cheese and it was just noodles with grease and a couple strips of bacon just chucked on top. I don’t think there was any cheese. Used to be WAY better. Not sure what happened but pretty disappointed and not worth the $$ anymore.
Just experienced Leo’s for the first time… Wow, the food was delicious. The Beef Dip and Deep fried pickles are my new go to whenever I come here. The service was great, atmosphere is great. Loved it.
