We are on a family trip to Calgary and after trying many restaurants here in Calgary I can say La Jawab is a really good one. Food was so good. Service was fast. All staff members are very nice specially Harsimram, Harsh and Davan. I think the owner was also serving food with a Big smile on his face. Highly recommend in Calgary. Definitely visit next time.
We happened to go to Banff from Calgary airport and we had decided to stop at an Indian restaurant for lunch. After going through plenty of sites and their reviews for the Indian restaurants in and around here, we went here, and we did not regret going to this place. We went on a weekday, and needless to say it was not crowded. They have friendly staffs, and their service was pretty good. We had Gobi Manchurian and Stuffed Paneer Pakora for starters. Manchurian was a little undercooked. We also had Schezwan Chow Mein noodles which did not taste good as such, but along with tomato ketchup, was good. Head over to this place if you want to enjoy some good food, and good desserts which are served in the nearby shops. Also, pretty close to the airport.
Excellent place to Buy Pure Indian Taste Dishes and sweet. Dine in or Take out even SKIP DISH too. Their dishes have Best taste in town especially Calgary North East.

Used to love this restaurant and have recommended this to so many friends , left positive reviews from my other account but that google account got hacked.Your food has gone really bad , ordered dal makhni and paneer kadhai both were not edible.Your old recipes were a superhitAll the best !!
Great Food ,great ?A great restaurant for Indian foods. Food quality is awesome, so is the food decoration and their service. I personally can not digest too much spicy foods which most of the Indian restaurants do. This restaurant does provide spicy foods but they are not too much spicy. So, those who do not eat spicy foods regularly will definitely enjoy their food even if you do not tell to lessen/add spices. Environment is clean and decorations of restaurant is good as well. I will recommend this restaurant to the people who like/want to have a delicious and great looking/smelling Indian food. Loved the visit in there.
The food is so delicious here, I am completely blown away. It is gourmet. Foodies will be in paradise. Don't miss the chili chicken. The service was great too. And they've created a very nice ambiance. They have a wall of electric fireplaces tastefully and artistically done. This is not an ordinary restaurant. I also bought a bunch of samosas to go for a finger food party.
If you are reading this review, then I would advise to not order from this restaurant at all. Below is the reason why.I placed an order around 3.5 hours before takeout on 18th Dec, 2021. The order includes 5 chicken biryani, 4 butter naan, 1 Murgh Malai Tikka, 1 mix nov veg mix platter and 2 veg Manchurian.I was very disappointed with chicken biryani as it seems that rice was mixed with chicken curry as there was too much gravy and water in biryani due to which my car seat spoiled while taking out even though it was placed properly on seat and there was plastic bag underneath; this required significant effort to clean it. The gravy felt on my cloth while taking out from car and hardly any guest eat it because it was too watery. I never seen such pathetic biryani as it had too much gravy / water in it.I had to throw away biryani next day. Moreover, the non veg mix platter had 3 sikh kabab out of which 2 we had to throw away as there strong smell of lamb, only one was eatable an which was prepared from goat meat.Next day, I called to restaurant and explain this. However, they did not believe it and pretended that they prepared biryani how it should be however it was pathetic, mix of rice and chicken gravy.
Had a dinner this evening with another friend.Delicious food as always. If someone ask me where can you get best Indian food,my answer is La Jawab always.Never got disappointed. No compromise to quality and taste in last 8 years.Every time it gets better.Their service is great as well. This evening Our server was really professional and Nice,She know how to deal with customers,I dont have her name but she deserve kudos. My experience was great and my friend who came first time,He enjoyed it as well. Thanks La Jawab!
Check the size of salad ordered.. didn’t understand it’s for human beings or animals. Food was also just upto the mark nothing La Jawab. Disappointed. Will not visit again.
