Food serving was big. It gave the ayce feel when they gave me the menu sheet... And i ordered alot thinking serving size will be small. That my friends i was wrong! Price was really good too! Ramen deluxe for only $8.8!!! We ordered black udon noodles, miso ramen, shrimp tempura, salmon sashimi, chasu donburi, pork (not so good) and chicken (best tasting) yakitori, lobster roll, golden dragon roll, chicken teriyaki, miso black cod, grilled scallops, and calamari tempura. Then picked up some mochi ice cream to go, snacks, onigiri and bentos for later! They also have bubble tea, too bad we didnt get to try it...will definitely return here! They have good parking space too!
Very good but expensive if you want to eat alot of sushi. Service was good and everyone in there was kind. They had a new mango bubble tea. Very good and only $2.50. we tipped well.
One of our favourite sushi in town; price, quality, service, atmosphere… all 5 stars! You know what you’re getting every time.Staffs are always checking to see how you’re doing (at least the Westhills location). And you can chill and enjoy the beautiful decors after meal.
My Son and girlfriend invited me for supper. To one of their favorite places to dine. It was my first time and I order the spicy Raman soup. It was sooo flavorful mmmm mmmm delicious. Will definitely ? ? return.
Came here today after months, and ordered their miso ramen and balck ramen. The broth was extrememly foamy when it arrived but the noodles werr a disappointment. At this location, it was previously nice and chewy. Very worth while and I would say more than a steal for the $5 it is worth. But today, 2 bites in and I dont think I'll be coming back for these. i asked the server when she came to check on us and her reply was that the noodles were different from what they used before. So i clarified, and asked if the noodles went from chewy and good to mushy and bland. And shes said yes. I also ordered the shrimp tempura and salmon kama both were really crispy and well flavoured. Just disappointed abouthr ramen
My wife and I was shopping and thought we would give it a try. I must say I have eaten all over the world from China to Italy etc. we was told it’s $35 a person for all you can eat. So we thought we’ll we will give it a shot. The service ok. The tablet was given to us to start ordering our food. The portions are small but you do have the option to add more items. Well the food arrived and really the tempura was ok some other items not many were ok. But the rice dish and noodle dishes were awful very sloppy. The food was sub par and we both agreed it really was not a good choice. If you have eaten down town at some of the Asian restaurants you will get it. We actually regretted going in but we ordered food and it was getting busy which surprised me . We had eaten enough and had 7 little pieces left on a dish so my wife said maybe I can take it home instead of wasting it. They then came back and said we going to charge you an extra $3 which we said it’s all good we really didn’t enjoy it enough. That told me then that my visit was my last. The crappie thing we was so looking forward to it. But I guess you get what you pay for. If I rated this I really would give it a 3 out of 10. I’m sorry but the food was terrible.
Stopped by Tuesday for lunch. Pretty disappointed in the visit as prices went significantly up and quality down.Ramen came cold and got the wrong ramen flavours One of my favourite rolls the Benihana roll came completely dried up and over cooked. Also stopped by for the happy hour promo and got charged for regular prices. Overall disappointed for my most recent visit and don’t know if I’ll be come back to dine here.
Kinjo Sushi & Grill Westhills is the best sushi restaurant I have ever been to in the Calgary area! On top of that it is consistent in its performance. The chefs have a real passion for sushi and it shows in their creations. The sushi is always fresh and the flavors are amazing. The atmosphere is perfect for a sushi dinner, and the service is excellent. I highly recommend Kinjo Sushi & Grill Westhills for an amazing sushi dinner! It is one of the rare restaurants selling blue fin imported tuna a rare delicacy in the sushi market. Furthermore, the wide range of Japanese imported beers had my friends wanting to try more; meanwhile I got to enjoy some premium sake. I will be coming back for my Birthday! This is my favorite Kinjo in Calgary and deserves 5 stars for having more than enough space to host big parties and quiet dinners and the food is best in class.

I ordered takeout over 10 times this year, this place used to be my favorite, but my most recent experiences are not as good as before.Actual waiting time is longer than scheduled for pick up, ramen noodle is downgraded to thinner ones, grilled black cod is really black. Ordered one miso ramen and one black ramen, but received two miso ones.
