The sushi is passable, not amazing. I don’t mind the ramen. But they do have my favourite drink, which is the main reason I keep coming back here.
My dining partner and I came the last hour of service and were hoping for good but silently expecting mediocre - I'm glad to report it was better than we expected.We enjoyed a number of dishes including dumplings, black deluxe Ramen, sushi rolls and Takoyaki. We weren't crazy about the texture of the signature rolls, but everything else including the friendliness of the staff, the quick service and overall atmosphere were great.I highly recommend Kinjo at Country Hills!
My brother recommended this place for some really authentic Japanese Sushi. I ordered Avacado, Midori and Lobster Rolls for our meal. The food quality and taste was top notch. Also, I enjoyed the Miso Ramen it was flavorful and delicious. Lastly, shoutout for Jenny for an amazing service. I would highly recommend this place. Kudos to the Kinjo team.
This place is fantastic! Food comes super fast, even for huge families (so fast we can't even find enough table space for everything before the next plate comes ?). Fish is fresh, flavourful. Soy sauce is completely full when you sit down—great attention to detail! I love coming regularly to this Kinjo location ?
My favourite sushi place! Service is quick from the time your order food. Everyone is helpful and friendly. The food is always perfect and consistent. They always sing if it’s your birthday. My kids love eating here.
Coming from a tiring trip, the restaurant was a surprise find. Food was served fast and hot. Definitely worth going and coming back. We are from Victoria.
I wish I got more pictures of the food. The food and service was amazing. Usually would go to an AYCE but decided to try here. Best decision we made. So tasty, fresh and reasonably priced. Portion sizes were huge as well.Definitely will be back.
Love Kinjo sushi. The sushi is great and the service is fantastic. The district location is one of their newer locations and the ambiance and atmosphere is great. They have artwork lined up everywhere and Gundam boxes placed around the restaurant. Love the Gundams. They also have a small area where they sell Japanese snacks and stationary which is pretty cool. Overall the food is great and have lots of variety including sushi, ramen, fried tofu, fried squid, tempura. They have some very unique rolls that I don’t see elsewhere. Highly recommended if you want variety of Japanese foods!
Salmon sashimi is so fresh, it literally melts in your mouth. I ended up order more. This place is totally beyond my expectations!! I’m pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. Good value place with good quality food. Keep up the good work!
#toast to Kinjo Sushi And Grill! My son was very excited to spend his 19th birthday there for dinner. In the fun and excitement and rolling our full tummies out the door, he neglected to take his birthday card home! Leaving it on the table with cash and a cheque from his grandparents! Huge toast to the staff there for ensuring it was all safe and all accounted for and waiting for us to pick up! Amazing service. Amazing meal. AMAZING staff! Thank you! Edited to update: my in-laws called me and Kinjo took it one step further! They called my Father-in-law (his phone number is on the cheque) to advise that it was left behind! ABOVE AND BEYOND SERVICE!!! Please everyone give them a shout out and visit. Food is phenomenal (and I don’t like sushi at all ?)
