Best Chinese in Calgary. Always use very fresh ingredients. Doesn't leave you feeling greasy like many other restaurants. Definitely our go to spot.

Attempted to place a delivery order through them tonight. Gave them an address in the NW and was told to hang on, so I wanted. Guy came back on the phone and told me the delivery car was not working and to order on skip the dishes.Called off of a different phone number and gave an address in the SW. Guy said no problem what can I get for you. So I said I thought the delivery car wasn't working. He immediately choked on his words and pretended that the line was breaking up.If you don't live in downtown good luck getting delivery from their restaurant.Food is mediocre at best.
Tried King's for the first time today and I won't be back. Had the lunchbox special for 8.50. Rice had no flavor at all. Ginger beef was ok but not great and not much meat mostly just the breading. Mixed veggies.. was a piece of brocolli a couple slices of celery and then just a bunch of sprouts. Maybe an off day but I'll try somewhere else next time I feel like Chinese food. Gave a 3 cause the lady there was nice and maybe an off day.
Great ginger beef. The mixed veggies/chops is tasty; the veggies are cooked properly. The fried rice is ok and not the greatest to be honest and can be inconsistent. Great price for the food.
I have been ordering from Kings for years, a couple weeks ago I ordered Wor Wonton soup and the container was half full and no veggies or shrimp and tonight my Egg Foo young was awful, it was not cooked and it had so many frozen peas and carrots in it thats all you could taste. I am so disappointed.

The big sign on the window raving about the ginger beef was not wrong.Wish they had more selection of smaller portions so I could mix and match. But either way it's very good.
Was my go to for Chinese food as I order here frequently, but not anymore. Food was trash, dry, tasteless, old rice, really terrible food. Ordered the dinner for 2 via uber eats and the chicken fried rice was old dry hard lumpy white rice packed in a plate for me. Was totally tasteless and really hard. The ginger beef also was tough, tasteless and not fresh. The vegetables too was the same. I am so disappointed, total waste of money. Never again.
not good! kings was my "go to" not anymore, last 2 times... really poor quality, thot it was the cook, nope. ordered dry garlic ribs.. got a pub style rib bite battered thing, NOT dry garlic ribs, called in, "thats how we make it" thats how you save money and rip people off! 14 bucks for a piece of pork wrapped in dough. am out KIngs! u lost another customer for cutting corners and lying! is no batter on dry garlic ribs!! dah...
