I love the white mocha and other coffee/espresso drinks here! Lots of danish/pastry options.Can get cramped for large groups. I would say Kawa is a place to have casual meetings/hangouts and it can get very busy/noisy and difficult to find a table or seat. Would not recommend to study or do quiet work here; only 1 charging outlet from what I am aware of.

Very cozy place and a nice environment to hang out at with friends or family. They make really great drinks and treats. Their London Fogg and matcha tea lattes are so good! Definitely worth a try!
The Macha Latte here is excellent! I highly recommend that you dine in here if you can because you will get served with a huge bowl!The staff here are pretty friendly and very efficient. The dining area is quite large so there shouldn't be any problem finding a seat.Their sandwiches and other gourmet delights also taste amazing and always hit the spot.It is great to see this shop always humming with business.
Good environment and amazing music. An amazing place for a late night coffee run.
My colleagues and I love stopping by here during breaks or after a long day of work. Really great menu and lots of options. They also take COVID protocols very seriously, which is something that we always appreciate.
It's our first month in Calgary and we have tried all the local coffee shops near 17th. It's our first time, and Kawa is clearly the best coffee shop! The barista was really nice because we forgot to mention one of them had to be with oat milk and she gave us another one right away. I think Kawa will be our spot from now on!
Great place to have a breakfast. Staffs were professional and enthusiastic. Coffee was nice. Panini looked compelling and tasted amazing. Love it.
Excellent takeaway coffees and THE CAKES! We got a berry cheese cake and the chocolate praline cake. Oh my god. So good. We also got a variety of bottled beverages to try as they were ones I had never seen before! Take the chance and try some!!
As you can see from their posted photos, the baked goods are exposed to flies and folks coughing on them near the till. Poorly staffed so the tables are not bused often, never seen them wiped down, staff didn't wash their hands before handling the food.Many customers didn't follow the mask bylaws and were allowed to do so by staff.Few umbrellas and no curtains to block the sun when neededAbove average prices , poor hygiene, high risk of contagion, lack of consideration for the customer in general caused me to no longer be a customer. There are safer cheaper and higher quality choices.
