Amazing nice food! So good for the vegetarian people because many places add fish oil in veg curry and this place assured me for pure green and red curry! Delicious food. The Thai red curry is hot & must try… only if you can handle the hot chillies!
Lovely place, great stuff and delicious food. We liked everything that we ordered and it tasted fresh. Had good Thai food after a long time. It will be my go to every month for sure
We are regulars at Jurees Thai on 16th Ave NW here in Calgary. We walk up or use the drive through (awesome idea!!) as we live just a few blocks away. It’s our go to restaurant. One of the first customers when it opened. A favourite for many years. Yesterday I had the hot & sour prawn soup, rice, green curry, stir fried vegetables. The curry and vegetables were lovely. The soup was tasty. There was lots of flavour as always. Sadly all the prawns were gritty. One had not been cleaned so had its black stuff still. I only started looking at them as the first was not fun to eat. Another had little leg things. Another first was a strange piece of what appeared to be bone. It was round in cross section and about half an inch across and deep. Very hard. If dining in I would have sent the soup back and I am sure they would have been happy to replace it as the staff are always lovely. I did call the restaurant to provide a heads up but didn’t get the sense my feedback would be passed on so hope this will be read so as to be addressed. Then we can look forward to our favourite soup. In summary: good food and good flavour, and usually the prawns are fine. Hopefully the grittiness was an isolated experience.
First time in Calgary and were looking for a good Thai place. Decided down on this based on the reviews. We made a last minute reservation 30 minutes before closing time and they were generous enough to accommodate us.Fell in love as soon as we entered. The ambience is lovely and well maintained! The staff is very friendly and you can ask them for suggestions from the menu. Make sure to specify the spice level while ordering.Food is delicious!!! Each dish comes with vegetable flower cutouts/decorations. The price might seem a bit high for some of the dishes, but the serving size is very generous.Would recommend to try the cassava cake and coconut ice cream for dessert.
I’ve never had authentic Thai food before, so I’m not sure if this place is legitimate or not. But I found that what I ordered here was delicious and flavourful. The peanut sauce that came with the stuff chicken wings were perfect and the texture of the meat and veggies with the curry was cooked to a nice level too. I found the spiciness level to be pretty accurate with my expectations and I would definitely come back again.The ambience and decor was really nice, there’s a lot of decor.
Stuffed wings are so good! Curries were decent, but I probably should have ordered them with more heat. Order was ready to pick up on time.
If you want more authentic Thai go here. The food is good. Bit pricy but it's a nice restaurant. Tip: their coconut cream soup is excellent

Had a good dining experience here. The staff was very friendly and the food delicious. Highlights were the stuffed chicken wings and the green curry beef. For the time being, reservations required for dine in.
Food was excellent. Service was slow to start. Once we got to order the, service was great. Each dish had its own flavour and we enjoyed it very much.
