First they make a big deal about being vaccinated. Reminding me three times I cannot dine in. I know that. Another patron and I agreed they are being too vigilante. I was ordering take away. Second the crispy chicken is fatty and textures funny. Rice has gravy for flavour. Decent gravy. Has a unique flavour.
This Filipino food chain is always packed wherever you go. Three locations in Calgary and still people come here for the famous jolly fried chicken,sweet version of spaghetti and peach mango pie.
This branch is horrible. If I didn’t like Jollibee chicken I would never go back to this store. Aside from the inflated price of yum burgers now, this branch had given me anxiety attack. A year ago I got burned by their baseboard heater. I called to report it to them so they could address it and no one else gets burned. Instead of apologizing the manager was defensive and deflecting blame. I understand they did not want to be have insurance claim against them but all I wanted to hear was an apology and actions that they would take for safety issues. The next few visit would be horrible too. Missing items and stuff. But this New Year was horrible. I ordered on the app because it work on a few days before and got my order on time. New Years eve, the pick up time was 5:15 and promised time was 5:20. I did not get mine until I got really upset at 5:45, when another customer ordered at the till and got her order few minutes after, she even said “oh that was fast”. All the while, I have been patiently waiting there for my order and I do not see it being prepared at all! Ridiculous customer service
so excited to eat the Chicken Meals that I ordered only to be disappointed by the change in taste . like the chicken has a different taste i dont know how to explain but you know...Completely not the same as it used to be. and the food was so cold . thank you.
Tennessee and Stephanie the front counter staff were very friendly. I loved chicken joy spaghetti plus the peach mango pie, the restaurant was very clean inside and out. I will be back soon. Also,health safety protocols was strictly being enforced for everyone's safety.

Service is okay, mostly because you have to wait a long time after your order. Good luck getting into this place without a QR code. You will be stopped and searched before stepping over the imaginary line .
Most other chicken I tried have been life changing but Jollibee Fried Chicken may as well should have been sent back to The Philippines. I respect the owners that came to America and build this empire. I understand it’s an iconic stop for any of their staple food back home, Jollibee is the Pride from the Philippines. May I be frank, there’s nothing secret about their recipe, there’s no special seasoning, their gravy is what you get from a can. It did not WOW my palate. No, I honestly thought the spicy chicken was the best, they should solely sell the spicy chicken, giving them individuality. I would definitely go back, it’s as good as advertised, surprisingly impressed with the light and not too greasy batter and moistness of the chicken that makes Jojobee standout. But no thank you, I will not eat spaghetti, what’s wrong with you people, if anyone would see me eat pasta at Jollibee my reputation will be ruin. The Original chicken tasted like what would do on “a Saturday morning, hungover and too cheap to go buy at the restaurant or get the $100 chicken mix batter and you wanted to impress the girl you came home with” But from a more acute chicken connoisseur, KFC is KING, will forever be and how dare you insult the Colonel.
I love spicy chicken and pineapple juice here. The staff are all friendly, supportive, and work efficiently!
The place is really clean, and all staff here are really friendly and sweet. They made my day :) I love their Palabock! It’s somewhat cheesy and its noodles aren’t too heavy like the one in pho. ❤️ super tasty!
