Over 15 years ago I used to come here at least once a week when I worked near the university. Often enough that the server got my drink without me asking. Always a great experience.After living away for over 10 years, I was visiting town in 2022 and decided to drop by and have lunch. I was NOT disappointed. Still great. So I won't be back soon, but I definitely will be back whenever I'm in town.

Service staff were good. Service was prompt. Food freshly cooked. All you can eat was just fish and chips - no sides. Conviently located near hotels, near the train station (light rail), across the road from the stadium.
Terrible quality Of food, the chips were a leftover refried in my delivery order via Ubereats for famous fish and chips. And the fish fillet was paper thin. Not trusting this chain henceforth.Food ended up in garbage

I used to frequent this restaurant all the time but after today I won't be returning. I ordered the daily special which was 1 pc halibut and fries. I substituted the fries with coleslaw. They came on a metal tin (thought I was in prison) with a piece of paper under the food. The server said I could have had a plate, but I wasn't even aware it wouldn't come on a plate. In addition, the batter was so crispy it just broke apart. The coleslaw was bland. There is absolutely no ambiance or atmosphere in this place and it was chilly, to boot. Not worth the $18.00.
Very reasonable prices, very great tasting food.We always get Joeys on our birthdays. Joeys never disappoints!
Our fish and chips was brought to our table hot and it was delicious! It tasted fresh and not sitting under a heat lamp.Portions were huge!
What we tried was good (fish and chips) and shrimp. Service was good and staff very friendly. We had one person with allergies and Joey's took great care to keep everything seperate
new options on the menu. still have the tasty fish and chips as well.
