If you’re looking for a spot to eat look no further.! My friend and I came here for lunch and got a few items off the Happy Hour menu.! For an appetizer we got the sushi cones and truffle fries and both were delicious.! For drinks we ordered the peach Bellini and it was very refreshing. For the main dish I ordered the Tuna Poke bowl and my friend had the chicken club. My poke bowl was so good.! The tuna was so fresh and the veggies were delicious. For dessert my friend and I shared the apple pie with maple ice cream. This pasty was so flakey and the maple ice cream was so good.!
I came here for a late date-night dinner and was not sure what to expect as it's a chain restaurant. I was very pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is energetic and lively, the decor was modern and there are lots of seating options. I also really liked that they had an open kitchen that you could see into.Even though we did not have reservations and it was very busy, we were seated right away at a nice booth table. The hostesses and servers were very friendly and accomodating.We started with a bottle of wine - they do not have an extensive wine list by any means, but there are still some decent wines to choose from. For entrees, we ordered the back ribs and the salmon. Both were suprisingly very good and very nicely plated (I was enjoying the meal so much I forgot to take pictures until I was halfway through!) The salmon was cooked perfectly to medium, the mashed potatoes were very creamy and the veggies were nice and crisp. The back ribs were covered in a flavourful sauce, and we substituted the fries for mashed potatoes with no issues.We were able to sit and enjoy our wine after the meal and were not rushed out. Overall, it's a great spot to meet for drinks or dinner with friends, or have a date night. It was an enjoyable experience and I would go back.
Took myself out for dinner Here today. The steak was amazing, so juicy and tender ! The whole meal was delicious. Customer service was amazing . The bartenders Esteban I believe his name is and Justin went above and beyond . Super friendly. Great conversations . Even the hostess made me feel super comfortable as I felt out of place (not dressed up enough) she joked around with me which was nice . I will be back :)
Place is always buzzing but last night was pretty quiet. I liked it a lot more as this place is usually verg busy and u can hardly hear each other at times. The food cam out 15-20 mins after ordering. It was fresh and pretty tasty. I got the steak and sushi. Keep in mind the sauce the steak comes in can be on the salty side. The sushi was superb. I also recommend ordering thr side sushi cone. It will not disappoint you. My son got the chicken sandwich and my husband the steak with crispy mashed potatoes which are amazing! No need for covid passports anymore! Wait staff was very polite.
Was really blown away by the whole experience. Our server was awesome super attentive from the time we were seated all the way until we left. The food was amazing! We are new to Calgary and most definitely have found our new date night spot. If I could give more stars I totally would

Last night we were a group of 10 and WOW! The service was excellent!Upon arrival, the staff was super kind and had a table for us. Then, the drinks arrived quick and easy.What really made the difference factor was one of the servers who we asked to take a picture of the group. She went above and beyond to find the best angle, she took a few ones until everyone in the photo was looking great.I totally forgot her name, but once I find it, I will update the review.On the other hand, I personally got a hand-pressed hamburger and it was huge and delicious.Thank you JOEY Barlow Staff!
Love the atmosphere! Great food and deserts! The only thing I didn't like too much was the Moscow mule did t have so much flavour. I 100% recommend the food!.
Had high expectations for this place due to the good reviews. Atmosphere was good, service was okay. Food portion sizes are laughably SMALL for the price you pay. I mean really, 12 bucks for 6 small pork dumplings even as an appetizer is pretty absurd. Took 35 minutes for the steak to come out. Out of the hour or so I spent at Joey's, maybe 15 minutes was spent eating and the rest waiting.
Manjot was our server - the food was good, the recommended wine was perfect but it was the server that made the dining experience so wonderful! Manjot was superb.
