Came for dinner recently for the first time in a couple years. The food is as I remembered; really tasty and filling. The sesame sauce is still fantastic. The cocktails we tried were a little too sweet, though.Unfortunately, some of the magic was lost due to the partitions between groups at each table. We also felt rushed through our meal, with barely any interaction from the chef.

We went there for a birthday and had an amazing time! The chef was very pleasant and very nice as well. They gave us extra food and some extra shrimp as well! Their "yum yum" sauce is to die for! Definitely worth a try if you have never been!

Super disappointed! Reserved a table for 8 to celebrate my birthday. I have a shellfish allergy so the cook my food in the back. I had it within minutes, Was almost done eating before everyone else started. The speed with which they pushed to eat and leave was ridiculous. There was really no show anymore. Cook very quickly, feed the people, rinse and repeat. The food was not very tasty and quite skimpy. My friend noticed they used 2 steaks and divided them into 4 people. The bills came and the 18% gratuity was already added (we were not told). There was a restaurant owner and a chef in our party and they both noticed. The server quickly said oh i forgot but it would have been fine to get a double tip I assume. Very sad end to a very long standing restuarant but I will not be returning. And the worse is nobody cared when i voiced my concerns. We were in and out in just over an hour. Mcdonald's wouldnt have been so rushed

Was recommended here by a few friends and came here for my mother’s birthday. It was a great first experience for all 8 of us. The food was amazing and our chef Bruno, was an absolute gem. He definitely made our experience much better than we anticipated. 10/10 would recommend and come back because of him.Thank you Bruno and to the staff for a great time, making my mother’s birthday a memorable one!!

What a great experience ! Our chef was one funny dude shout out to him . The meats, the sauces especially for the salad and the rice . Overall fantastical ! Good hole in the wall to visit .

Teppanyaki at its finest! Delicious, awesome portions, and very entertaining...what more do you want? It's in high demand, so make sure you get a reso. ?

The atmosphere is fun but the food, thumbs down and expensive for what you get. Paying for the entertainment

Our last family dinner years ago here was fun and great value but this time is our last time. We arrived at 5:50 and were told to wait for the rest of our group to arrive in an area where other people were eating so we stood in amongst the tables. Poor diners!! Finally at our table and you need the QR code on your phone to see the menu and this QR code was out at the front desk so if you missed it there you were sharing someone else’s!! . And this is not a complicated menu as we saw one and it was only one page so printing off at least one per table would have been helpful. This began the frantic feeling of “get ‘em in and get ‘em out” theme that continued the entire 1.5 hours - and yes 1.5 hours was the time allotted to our dining for 13 people that cost us 588.00 dollars!!! To even try and understand the menu and what is available takes more than 30 seconds but we were pressed for our orders for both dinner and pre-dinner drinks so there was no element of enjoyment here. I cannot fault the servers who did their very best to entertain us and serve us drinks and dinner but what is at fault is the system that Japanese Village aspires to in order to process us through to make the most money for the least value they can offer clients. Once the server took your drink order they were gone to another table and if you wanted a second drink you had to find them. We will never be back. We brought a birthday cake and asked for a knife and plates and was strongly encouraged to take our cake and eat it in the outer dining room waiting area because our time was almost up. We ended up getting it at our table and still managed to have the cake and be out in 1 hour and 25 minutes!!!! This fast food is not worth dining here no matter how tasty the yum yum sauce is. Buy it and take it home instead. Again, we will never be back.

Used to be a favorite and hadn’t been for 10 years as we lived abroad. What a disappointment, food was fine but ambiance was very poor and outdated. Can go to many other nicer places for the same money. Too expensive for what it is. We won’t be going back. What a shame.

Was great! What a show loved the food and the staff were awesome!
