There's no more stars that I can pack so I had to pick 5.I am so unimpressed with the new owners and the new staff of this Market. The customer service is less than impeccable and I will never go back to that market again and the prices are outrageous. I'd rather go down the block down to the Italian supermarket which I did right after Lina's and got the most amazing customer service possible and if you go to the back deli where there are two blonde ladies you will get the most amazing service and biggest smiles that you have probably ever seen that you feel welcomed to come to their Market. Going to LIna's there was nothing but a miserable woman with dark hair at the deli but they all look the same that could not even be bothered accommodating me.will never go back!1 the entire little Market is just a godsend for people that appreciate good Delicatessen and Italian food and I would recommend anybody go there for the most amazing customer service in general including the chalam at the cashier. Thank all of you for just being the people that you are.
They have the best pizza in town! It’s super fresh, has the perfect amount of sauce and toppings, and is oven fired to perfection!The service is also great and the staff is super friendly and welcoming. The grocery store also has lots of variety of Italian items, cheeses and meats.
Huge selection of dry goods, super delicious fresh baked pastry items, and home made dishes such as chicken parmesan, lasagna, garlic toast etc... Very generous portions and super friendly staff.The wood fired oven pizza is beyond words...in a pleasant way. A must try.I'll be back!
Only been here a few times, heard the pizza was really good. And it was! Fire brick oven, can't go wrong. The gentleman working the oven knows everybody who comes in so it seems a good repoire is here with a lot of regulars coming by. Definitely a spot worth checking out for the pizza, and other Italian products.
This is the best family owned Italian market in the city. Prices are reasonable, shelves are loaded with good quality Italian foods and the staff is fantastic!
I just love going to this market, staff are all super friendly, shelves are all stocked with quality items and the little restaurant they have in there is a gem!
Wow...every time best experience ever.The ladies from the food part of the store are the sweetest things. Especially the one that bakes the pizzas is the absolute star. Always calls me mister haha....best pizzas, rich cakes and coffee and prices are absolutely ridiculously cheap ...would always come back and only place I actually double my bill as a tip. Thank you guy and keep up the great work.
Vastly under-rated! One of the very best Italian markets in the city IMHO. They have a huge selection of Italian pasta (if you don’t know, bronze-die extruded pasta is the only way to go), a really wide selection of SM tomatoes, and the biggest selection of Rao’s sauces anywhere I have seen.(There is NO other pizza sauce than Rao’s, just sayin’). And when you go, be sure to pick up a bag or two of their fresh pasta dough. It’s worth a special trip. It’s a bit pricier than that found at The Italian Centre BUT it’s twice as big: they actually give you enough to make a proper sized pizza! Which is another thing you should try, their brick oven pizza is delicious. And on your way out, after you have already bought your cold cuts and cheeses from the deli, grab a bag of those large rectangular panini buns next to the checkout and have some great panini’s for dinner with nice big salad! Num! This place is absolutely nowhere near where I live, but it is always worth a trip☺️
