Waiting over 25 minutes for an order that I phoned in an hour before. Some food was okay, but the ginger beaf nearly made me sick. I think it must have been from a few days ago. Very mediocre food, very ugly dive in case you were thinking of eating in. And to top it off, not cheap price - nearly $40 for a dinner for 2, but couldn't stand the aftertaste.
We have lived in the SE part of Calgary for the last 7 years. We have tried 2 Chinese restaurants in that time frame for take away, one closer to our house and Hong Kong Garden. HKG is probably the best Chinese food we have ever had and continue to use them whenever we want this type of food. Staff is friendly, portions are huge and given at a fair price and the food is delicious. We have no complaints. Even the website we order off of is easy to use. They have free delivery within a certain radius, they offer discount for pickup and they offer a free dish depending on the amount of the bill. WIN / WIN for everyone.
This restaurant has to be the best around! It is AMAZING and Delicious!! The staff is friendly and helpful too. If you haven't tried Hong Kong Garden, you must.
Luscious food, extensive menu, large portions. Friendly staff, terrific delivery man who loves pets.
Very disappointed. 4/5 containers were half full. Considering the price is the same if not more than close by competition we felt ripped off on this.
