This place was awesome, our experience was even better because the Oilers whooped the Flames.We were a little hesitant to come to this place as we were in "enemy territory " but thr overall vibe was awesome.We sat right at the bar upstairs, our servers were friendly but not overly chatty.And we only were booed a handful of times, but we were expecting that hahahaThe decor was awesome, you'll see a ton of 80's, 90's and early 2000's decor which reminded me of my childhood.The food was really good, I highly recommend the deep fried pickles; this dish comes sliced! <--- amazing ????Go Oilers Go ??????
Went to Calgary for the comic expo and decided to have supper at the Calgary location last night. The drinks were amazing and the food was delicious. I had the loco bread as an appetiser because I loved the loco bread at the Edmonton location, and it was as just as amazing as I remembered it to be. I also got the Jr. Burger with bacon added and it was so good. Our server, Robby, did a fantastic job as well. Very attentive and made sure that we always had a full glass, whether it was water or alcohol (which he always asked if we wanted another before refilling). It was pretty busy, but food and drinks were brought out in a timely manner and it didn't feel like the server was trying to hurry us up or anything. A wonderful experience, and would love to go again.
Came here today and had a group of 4. We were served by Arielle and she was spectacular! Incredibly kind, quick and accomodating, she was an awesome server to have. Home & Away has really good daily specials, cheap food and beer, and the food was so delicious. Loved the sliders! Really nice sports bar atmosphere as well. We will definitely be back!
Went for after dinner drinks with some friends, lively place with arcade games and a long bar with lots of seating. Two story venue with some tvs if you want to tune into the game. Service was a little slow but I understand staffing is tough so that’s all good. Cocktails were great.
I love this place. The staff are fantastic. The servers and bartenders are always extremely friendly, the food is great and the night managers always get the place amped!Was there last night and Omid and Ava were amazing!!
This little gem of a sports bar/grill is situated in downtown Calgary with great ambience and amazing sporting memorabilia everywhere. Lots of TV's, yet it was not overbearing and we could easily have conversation without shouting at each other. Very spacious open main area & large swooping bar. There are a few games to play on the main level and there is a lower level which would be great for large group parties. Lots of varieties of craft beer on tap. The entire stuff was superfriendly and the food was absolutely amazing. Not your typical pub grub. My friend and I shared a couple of appetizers, the pulled BBQ chicken sliders & wings were top notch. The wings were plump crispy and tender with jalapeño aiolli drizzle, delicious! The entree of roasted chicken tacos were brimming with fresh microgreens & purple cabbage with a tinge of heat, perfect and very filling. They have food specials & drink specials every day of the week so I plan on going back. 10/10 experience.
I booked a reso through Omid for SuperBowl Sunday and the entire experience was seamless and an absolute blast! They called a couple of days beforehand to confirm the reso, the table location within in the restaurant was 10/10 (great view of the big screen for the game), and service was amazing. We had so much fun! Thanks, Omid and the H&A Team for such a fun SuperBowl Sunday!
Great service and great food. We went on a wing night and unfortunately put our order for other dishes in after a massive wing order went in, so it took a bit longer to get to us. The manager came over and apologized for the wait and offered a discount on our meal. That's just good business! We'll definitely be back as both the prices and the food we're ??
