This is the definition of a hidden gem! Definitely not a place you just stumble upon as it is located in what looks like an industrial area. Very small quaint restaurant, so it only has a few tables. Not made for large groups (at least not at this location).Staff were nice but I noticed they weren’t the most efficient at clearly tables given how small this place was. Food was definitely tasty and love how they had unlimited sides as well.
Hidden gem Korean Restaurant in Calgary. The seafood pancake in Calgary. Sundae Gukbap (Korean sausage, pork, tripe in broth) is my favourite! The soup was so good and flavourful! Loaded with meat. The side dishes are very good too.
The best Korean food in town, been there many times never once was disappointed. The food quality is amazing including all the side dishes. During lunch/dinner time there will be a line so try to go early, honestly the wait is totally worth it!
Highly recommend for anyone that wants to try Korean food. Really enjoyed it. Love the location. Bit of a treasure hunt to find the restaurant. Off the beaten path. Was super busy but luckily I was able to get a table. The waitress were very attentive and super nice.
Amazing place with good services. Side dishes were refillable and very high in quality. Same thing with rice which was not just a plain white Korean rice.We ordered 순대전골 and it amounted to feed more than two healthy men (three is probably a good number) and so we were able to bring home the leftovers with the take out boxes.Very pleasant experience.
Atmosphere is quaint and inviting. The food was fairly quick. The side dishes alone were a nice surprise. Taking the first bites, the seafood pancake was the best I’ve ever tasted. The Bulgogi was a large portion, meat was tender and full of flavor. Will definitely be back. I recommend anyone who wants to experience Korean food to come try out this spot!
The food is really authentic and taste good. The seafood pancake is quite unique than other Korean restaurant, it use some breadcrumbs on top makes it more crunchy. The pork feet is a bit pricy compare to other ones.
This is a small but busy place. The reason: food is wonderful , tasty and well serve. Servers and attentive. My only observation. Menu is hard to follow. It needs images of the plates. Also they did not give me a receipt when I asked for the bill. I like to check what I am finally paying for. But besides this small details this is a full 5 stars restaurant.
