I am giving 2 stars because I like the food, zero star for customer care. Was very excited for a dine in restaurant in our community, went with family, food was good, ordered chai and coffee in advance for the end, still waited half hour after finishing food to get them, the waitress completely forgot about the dessert I ordered and gave us the bill, we just paid it and left. Never went back for dine in. But my very picky eating child likes their butter chicken noodles so we kept doing a take out of that dish quite often and one day I ordered 2 butter chicken noodles MILD, but they goofed up my order and got 1 butter chicken noodle SPICY, so I called them and they apologized and said come back and we will give you a MILD one for free, but it was already late for dinner so told them will get it later. As expected it didn't agree with my child's tummy and allowed her tummy to settle down and went back for the one they promised a week later. When I got it the quantity was less and there was not even ONE piece of chicken in the butter chicken noodles and it was cold. This is so not compensation but just pure humiliation. Not going back to this place anymore.
I ordered from guru a couple days ago and it took me a couple days to collect my thoughts. Mango chicken was amazing. The tandoori chicken was moist, and flavorful. The bryanis chicken was the best I have ever had hands down, rice was not overdone and the chicken was moist, the presentation was next level fresh tomato. The nan bread was not greasy and garlic, pretty great for nan bread. I recommend everyone try it. I'll be taking my family here every chance I get.
Definitely not Fine Dining experience. When you charge such prices, need to have better seating, cutlery and service.Food was very ordinary. Will not be coming back!
Have always enjoyed the great flavors at Guru India and my kids say that the most flavorful egg fried rice and butter chicken can only come from Guru India! Latest discovery is the restaurant’s variety of freshly made Indian sweets! The very fresh and delicious sweets are a must try!
I have been a regular customer to Guru. Have always been happy with the quality of food. However, for my last order, l am very disappointed over how the management handled my complaint. I found three long hair in the food which I find disgusting. I brought it to the manager's attention. Didn't receive any response at all. This is unacceptable. The management must take responsibility for quality issues and do whatever is needed to avoid reoccurrence of issues!
Last Sunday we had a party. We ordered a lot of food. All the food was great like pudina paneer tikka, butter chicken, paneer makhani, chinese veg manchurian and naan were all fresh and the staff was too cooperative and helpful to find right thing for vegetarians as well as for non-vegetarians. Would recommend everyone you should go once. Thank you guys for this amazing taste.
The food was excellent!! Very tasty! Even the rice, which I'm not a huge fan of, was very good. Will definitely be back.
Looking into the number of positive reviews, you'll expect a nice ambiance, good food and courteous staff. Unfortunately, we found exactly the opposite. Ordered Indo Chinese, one item was burnt to bitter and another was salt-less...When pointed out to the staff, the answer we got was "we ll do better next time". Well, we aren't going there "next time".
Really enjoyed the food! Only problem was that we had asked for two butter chicken - one medium spice and one mild for the kids. Neither container was marked and there wasn't a discernible difference.
The food was very tasty. Even south Indian dishes were not that spicy. My 7 year old liked it. Definitely I will recommend few of my friends.
