Terrible food and service today. All our meals were so gross. The meat was so chewy and tasted yuk. All 4 dishes. Ice Water looked dirty. The service was soooo bad. Rude and didn’t come to see how everything was. Waste of money.Never ever again.

Extremely bland. Worst food I have had in a long time. Meat was so tough, I actually choked and stopped breathing for several seconds, scaring my dining partner, before I was able to gag it up. Barely touched my food, told the waitress and absolutely NOTHING was done. No concern at all, she only asked if the appetizer was ok. WTF? I have worked in the restaurant industry my entire life and in some high places. I consider myself a bit of a foodie and this was horrible. Never again.
Simply wow, amazing food! Great taste, Fresh food! Clean and lively ambiance. We really enjoyed a family time here! Service needs attention as no one came once to check on it or asked if we need anything! Slow service! Beef was raw, can’t even chew it, it was full of fats and uncooked! I am still giving a 3 because of its taste!
I really wanted to like this place - it's in Forest Lawn (where you find the best ethnic food), the owners are Latino... but it was so very underwhelming. The green enchiladas were disappointing. They were covered with little sauce, which was basically just runny green salsa. Inside the enchiladas, along with the chicken, was peas and corn (!). No thanks. The tacos were fairly good, but the chicken was underseasoned (really needed more salt), and the steak was super tough and chewy. The brisket tacos, however, were really great, as was the guacamole. The next time I have a craving for some really good Mexican, I'm sticking with Tacos Mexico.
The food here is amazing. Tons of flavour and there really is something for everyone.We started with the queso/chorizo with home made chips and pico, which everyone at the table loved.We ordered a couple of the Golden Cactus molcajetes for the table and what a delight having the deliciousness sizzling away at the table. We tried the brisket tacos and birria tacos and those also blew us out of the park with flavour. The beef has a delicious depth of flavour and is amazingly tender.We finished with all the desserts which included pecan flan, chocolate flan and churros with Dulce de leche. I loved the pecan flan the most.We will be back!

Great food in Calgary. I would say it's one of the better Mexican restaurants I have tried in Calgary and everything was great from food to service.
