I had high expectations based on the Skip rating. It was disappointing to say the least. The noodles had a consistency from crispy to doughy/soggy (falling apart in clumps). The lemon chicken smelled and tasted fishy (cooked in same wok after shrimp?). The wonton and spring rolls were bland. The fried rice and ginger beef was average.
Was suddenly craving pan fried buns and the closest to home would be Ginger Beef. Craving was unfortunately not satisfied. The broccoli and egg dish was good along with the shrimp tofu one but the others were mediocre if not sub par.
The dishes weren't as fully loaded as previous experiences. We also had half our chow mein noodles not cooked. The springrolls also weren't full, and possibly undercooked (seemed very soft).
The food was excellent and every dish we saw coming out of the kitchen looked wonderful. Also had very good service. We will definitely go back!
Best ginger beef in the world! Been coming here since 1997, when it was Ginger Beef Peking. Tried MANY Chinese food places and this one is one of the best. So sorry to hear the building was destroyed by a fire. The express locations are just as good.
Dinner was great as usual. Ginger beef, salt and pepper seafood, hand made dumplings and special rice. The exception was the Scechuan noodles lacked in quantity of shrimp ( 3) chicken ( 4 small slivers) and 2 mushrooms, and 2 slivers of green pepper, and was light on sauce. Could have used more in this dish to make it complete.other than that 1 dish it was very tasty
If you are looking for authentic Cantonese cuisine style Chinese food, this is the right place. Not to mention they have dim sum too
After ordering Sweet & Sour Chicken multiple times and receiving pork, we called to complain and were told we can't tell the difference between chicken and pork ? I think their staff are the ones who can't tell the difference. Won't be ordering from here again.
Went here recently, the food is great. It's cooked fresh. The waitress we had was very to the point and got us whatever we asked.Only odd thing that I dislike and the reason it's not 5 stars, we were a table of 2 and we got a bit of food as its always nice to take home, but when we went to pay, they automatically added 10% min tip. We were already planning on tipping 18-20% but now it felt odd to tip that much since we are tipping on top of the 10%. Was just an odd practice they do here.
Went for dim sum for the first time since the start of the pandemic. Going here made me wish I went more often. Oh so good. Ate so much tasty food I had to skip dinner hahaha.
