What a lovely place. It's your "hole in the wall" type of place and we really loved it. Be aware that there are only a few tables/seats what makes it more desirable. Service was great and attentive. I got the regular eggs Benny, they come on a toasted croissant and though the eggs were not poached as you expect but fried, it was awesome. Rich and delicious hollandaise, believing it was home made. The galaxy burger a delicious gooey mees with cheese just melting away. Only have a picture of the eggs but we were both happy, full and very satisfied. Highly recommended. Only downside were the potatoes.

Let me start by saying that the food here was delicious. They had the perfect brunch dish for me because I love salmon, eggs, croissant, and hash browns, it was absolutely scrumptious and not too heavy. The vintage decor was super cute and vintage, I think this restaurant has been around for a while. The place is tiny and gets packed easily, but I would definitely recommend this place. I’m thinking of coming here dressed in the clothes to match the decor next time!

A classic diner. Took us 15 minutes to get there, but it was worth it.Arrived at 9, had to wait for a few minutes before we got a table. It is a small place. While waiting, they offered us Coffee. Very nice gesture from a friendly staff. The place was very busy, but not too noisy.Got a place at the counter and got a chance to chat with the staff and owner.Ordered egg sandwiches and Milk shakes, but the menu offers a lot more. The portions were gigantic so you will not leave hungry. Bottomless coffee was also part of the breakfast. The best coffee so far.A cool little place, with great breakfast menu. You might have to wait to be seated, but it is worth it.

The brunch menu is indescribably perfect. It has a huge range of delicious foods for every craving, as well as a lengthy milkshake list. This space is tiny, and as such, sometimes requires a waiting time. However, it’s worth the 30 or so minutes, as the food is delicious, the vibes are perfect, and the service is friendly.

2022 breakfast menuReally cute 50s style diner. We went on a Tuesday morning and got seated immediately, I imagine there would definitely be a wait on weekends as there aren't many tablesRueben Benny was 10/10, really interesting flavour combo with sauerkraut, mustard and hollandaise. Must try! Huevos rancheros were good, pretty standard. Hasbrowns are perfect combo of soft and crunchy. They still do unlimited toast and hash browns so it feels like good value!Quick service, good coffee. overall a great breakfast spot if you're looking for diner classics

Perfect little spot for a Sunday brunch! Popular place, so seats fill up quickly. Incredible service by all the servers who made us feel very welcome, and delicious food. Loved the non-stop coffee refills.

Amazing food, love how close you can be to the chef and watch them cook... Great experience and staff is super friendly. Prices are on the higher side but the unlimited hashbrowns makes up for it. Would recommend to try.

This it a really good spot to come for breakfast! They have the biggest most topping omlette in the city, one price no matter how many toppings. They also have bottomless toast hash browns and obviously coffee. The french toast here is also really really good so are the milk shakes. The staff is also awesome, the only reason it's. 4 not 5 star review is simply because it could use a good cleaning and potentially better food handling. We were at a table on Sunday where you could see the two guys cooking and prepping etc and one guy took his rag he was using to wipe his cutting board and other things and wiped off some strawberries and blackberries. And Also from that seat you could see the grill needs a good cleaning. If those things were taken care of they would get 5 stars.

Galaxie is THE superior diner in YYC. They know exactly what they are doing and treat everyone with the utmost respect. Food is excellent, coffee is great and service is on point. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Galaxie Diner to any tourist/diner enthusiast. It’s just the best.

I keep reading good reviews about galaxie diner so I was curious to confirm the reviews I read. We tried to eat here for brunch. The place is just a small one but cute setup of a diner. The food is ok but filling can be good for sharing. There is no free parking so you have to park on the side street and pay. I tried the breakfast burritos and my hubby tried the burger. Their milkshake is alright.
