We love dining at fusion sushi, but it's our first time to dine here at kensington and the experience is not as good as what we expected, we ordered shrimp tempura that was so bland, the fried pork cutlet was so hard and has a bitter taste, the rolls i don't know if they used an old cooked rice coz it was dry and hard, the takoyaki there is not even a single part of squid on it it was all flour and the worst the seafood soup, i don't know if they just boil a water and just put the shrimp and veggies the shrimp you can taste it was raw.

We walked into this location with high hopes as we have been happy with the service in previous years. However, that being said, I will not be eating here again. The waiters were practically absent the entire time we were there, often seen grouped up together chatting in one corner of the restaurant, and we were not offered drink refills or checked-in on until the very end of our time. The food itself was “meh” to say the least. Nothing special, and at times felt rubbery and dry. Lots of rice to fish ratio which was difficult to handle. The worst part of this experience by far was having one of our dishes wrapped in a chunk of thick long hair. This was pretty disgusting considering we do expect at least some hygiene practices to be in place when we eat out for a larger price. The waiter that was notified of this hair chunk did not apologize, just simply took the plate and left, not offering to redo the dish at all.Overall I would advise anyone spend their money somewhere else, not worth the time and SO many other places more worthy of your business in Kensington.

My client and I brought our Cast/Production crew to this location. 8pm reservation.Almost each drink took 20 to 30 minutes to relieve. I only asking for water had to ask 4 times within one hour to get one glass. They also cheated us on ou4 last order (940pm) and didn't bring us our last round after asking us for any more orders (also not specifying it was last call) as this location closes at 1030pm.Some of the sushi was well made. Some. Majority was rubbery and dry.I will not bring my clients or my team to this poorly ran location again.

My order was here in a decent time but the bag was SOAKED it seems the delivery dude had thrown my order around like a rabid dog. The items that needed the sauce were without and everything else was soaked and gross, then two items were missing and the delivery took so long to get them i had missed the fellow (hope he liked the free fish) I waited essentially two hours for this missing item and just opted for a refund. Wouldn't order from here again :/

The worst experience I've ever had for all you can eat restaurant. They should rename to all you can eat for RICE.A little tiny sashimi + triple qty of rice = 1 pc of their sushi. The rice wasnt mixed with vinegar, just a normal white rice. And the fish isnt that goodLast but not least, their hygiene condition is suspect. They used really sticky and dirty dishes for the ice-cream. Did they wash the dishes??The manager said this is the standard quality of AYCE in Calgary and that how it is for them saving money. So customer need to pay$26 for all you can eat for RICE to support their business.Wow, it seems ridiculous.

Absolutely awful AYCE. Avoid the sushi at all costs, as they literally pack the sushi with exorbitant quantities of rice to fill you up. Incredibly shady and stingy. This is a practice I have never seen, EVER, in any AYCE. My family and I could only eat half the provided rice. After, the staff had the audacity to charge us for food wastage when it was only our first time there and had never seen such an atrocious imitation of what is supposed to be called "sushi". Staff were confrontational, unhelpful, rude, and do not know how to run AYCE sushi. Avoid at all costs. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

Awful value for money! We went for lunch and paid 10$ to get the dinner menu which included Sashimi and other dishes. I have never seen smaller sashimi dishes, with one tiny piece at a time...The pad thai was bad, the Basil beef was inedible, the sushi pizza was odd, the tom yum soup was nice though. The luxury rolls were mostly riceThe waitress was very nice, and I am glad that she didnt give us grief for the mountain of rice that we didnt consume.Wouldnt know how the a la carte is, but I would say avoid the all you can eat at all costs

Great central Calgary location!Good variety of food and arguably has one of the best tasting Rice Green Tea’s from any AYCE.Service is always fast here regardless of how busy the location gets.I personally recommend the deep fried sushi rolls and the “fried milk” dessert. Will definitely come again!

Great service but their lunch menu is not such a wow. It has a variety of dishes but no sashimi for their lunch menu and the quality was okay too. Will have to try their dinner menu to see if that's better. Clean place and fast service too.

This used to be my favourite place but lately it goes downhill big-time. My main concern is the cleanliness and quality of sushimi.Plates, glasses, tables and floor is sticky and overall looks and feels dirty. Cindy, it’s time to step up your game! I’ll delete this review when things get better.
