This Fritou Chicken is my favorite but they were not impressive today. I placed my order online and they told me that it would be ready in 20 mins. When I got there after 20 mins, my order was not ready. I had to place a new order and had to wait for another 15 minutes before I got my order. The workers I met had very poor customer service etiquette and the lady who served my drink has no sense of hygiene at all. The chicken burger was well prepared and I would recommend it any time.
Health code violations are off the charts in this place. No one was wearing masks properly. I ordered a pizza with one side pepperoni and mushroom and the other side chicken and mushroom and they used OLIVES to divide the two sides. I told them we didn’t want olives and asked them how they knew we weren’t allergic and they were incredibly demeaning and said “you should have told us if you were allergic to olives.” NO. When you go to a pizza place you don’t tell them what to NOT include, you only tell them what you want on there. Ridiculous on top of the fact that they felt the need to raise their voice at me. These types of restaurants are what give the NE of Calgary a bad reputation.
We found a piece of a fingernail in our pizza. Looking for a place to eat with friends of family? This is not it. Expect your order to not be taken seriously by careless staff who don’t put the slightest effort to make sure you have a great meal
The food was not at all bad, but it took more than the time we were given. We had to wait for longer, which should have managed with an experienced sales agent keeping in view their orders in hand. They should have avoided this wait time.
I don't know why this location has forgotten to serve fresh chicken; they hand over re-fried chicken instead... And when being asked to make it fresh, cook yells... such a poor customer service by newly hired staff and cook...
I started coming here in grade 8 after basketball practice (2015) back then it was much much better, better tasting food greater portion sizes and was always hot when received. Now this place seems like it’s just not into giving the community the quality they used to provide. No masks ever being worn inside the kitchen, no gloves ever being worn which is okay if they are constantly washing their hands but I once seen a man chewing food and touching his mouth while preparing a order which is unacceptable! Burgers are a complete down grade. Fries are rarely ever seasoned. Chicken seems old and dead (lacking flavour). Food is always late on the pick up orders. Sadly I will not be coming back here again because this has happened on multiple occasions. Used to be a gem now it’s just a “business”
This is the best fried Chicken in Calgary. This is the best friend chicken outside of Calgary. This might be the best friend chicken in the whole world.When I lived in Calgary, I used to drive from near Westbrook Mall, all the way up to the NE just to get this (there was a Fritou near me but It didn't seem to taste the same). I'd pick some up some to bring to picnics and people would ask me where I had gotten in. There is something in the seasoning and also the Fritou pepper sauce is amazing. I promise you this is literally worth driving out of the way to get.
Love the chicken but not the service. I wait for my order for almost 20 minutes only to found out that the wrong one. So i have to wait for another 15 minutes. The second time was a little bit better but I should say disorganized. I phoned my order and repeat it three times when I arrived they say they made it wrong again that I have to wait again.
Staff members dont wear mask, They dont care if customers are wearing masks. You can see the staff eating food while preparing your food. No gloves or hair nets at all. Prices are too high for what you get.
The absolute best chicken strips! The chicken is juicy, big, and delicious. The orders do take longer since it’s made fresh so I recommend calling ahead.
