Thought we’d check out the joint since we were walking by anyway. They are busy and that’s great!! No dark meat options so we opted for the chicken fingers with slaw and pickles. Got a side of fries too. Fries were meh. The chicken was flavourless while the batter just kind of slid off. The dipping sauce was bland. Hoping something in the recipe changes. Was hoping for better.
Thought to check this place out. We ordered sandwiches...this place is absolutely hyped with reviews here. Chicken have no flavor. The bun is saggy. The batter is falling apart from the chicken...And the worst thing is the pricing ; $13 for then "sandwiche" ?? Ee payed $35 for what you see in the picture !!!! Add to all of this, the uncomfortable chairs...
Seriously, the best chicken fingers I've ever had. I had the medium spice, and they still had a pretty good kick. Shared am order of fries as they're huge. Looking forward to trying the chicken breast burger next time. Good prices as well. Funky little spot.
Went for the hot, I could probably step it up a notch as I love and tolerate heat well. Chicken was juicy, crunchy and absolutely amazing. Portion size is not a issue for the sandwich. Coleslaw was a miss though, not even sure if there was dressing. All in all I will return, just minus the side of coleslaw and will step up my hotness level????
The chicken sandwiches are delicious! The piece of chicken is quite large and the coleslaw really adds to the flavor. I like spicy foods, so I had the medium heat chicken and it had a really nice amount of heat. I would probably enjoy 1 level hotter, but I'm not sure about the 2 hottest levels, they may be a little too much for me. Some day I will have to try them out to be sure. The guys working were all very friendly as well. The only thing I could really criticize is that the there were a few tables that hadn't been wiped down yet, but with the lunch rush that tends to happen in most places.
The employees were awesome and gave us coleslaw after we realized we ordered more than we can handle. As others have said, order one less hot than you think you can handle.Quality was really good, juicy moist chicken and crispy fries. Just be cautious with the spice lol.
Now that is a chicken sandwich! A massive piece of freshly cooked crispy chicken, a great house sauce, slaw that isn't overdressed and pickles to give that little something something. You will be hard pressed to find anything more authentic in the city. With six levels of heat, I tried my hand at medium...the spice put me on notice while still remaining perfectly delicious. If you are a heat head, go for the scortchin'...my Dad really enjoyed it. Well worth your money and trip to Bridgeland.
Solid food. The hot is actually hot and not pretending but has great flavor too (not just a burn because it can).Chicken was juicy and the coating nice and crispy.The fries were good and I want to try the fries with chicken and toppings on them eventually.The food was enough to get someone to come here but the service literally could not have been better. They made genuine conversation and it was really nice.
Really yummy sandwich, though it doesn’t stay together very well. However it’s well worth it. I like spicy and hot food, and got my sandwich “hot”. It was hot without being overpowering, so I’d go with that if you enjoy hot food. I may go down one level next time however and see how I like that. The coleslaw was also very good, and you get a good portion of it. The fries were good, but nothing to really write home about. Will definitely be back!
Finally, I made it here today! It's been on my radar for a while now, and it was worth the drive. I had the Sando with the extra hot flirt. Despite being warned it's too hot for consumption Hahaha and my spouse had the chicken tenders in mild and we shared crinkle cut fries which are my favourite. It was indeed extra hot which made me happy because it usually is never extra hot, and still quite tasty as well. Well. The chicken breast was so Juicy it was unbelievable and the tenders were probably the best we've had in the city. The fries hot, crisp and delicious maybe a tad to salty.The person who took our order and delivered our food had a huge smile and was very efficient. I can't wait to come back again.
